2009 Live Pro Circuit FormatRegular Season Competitions1. WoW Events will be separated into Pool Play and a Championship Bracket. Teams finishing 5th-8th in Pool Play’s Standings will be eliminated. Teams must lose 2 Matches in a WoW Championship Bracket before they are eliminated from an Event. 2. WoW Pool Play will support as many as 8 Teams. 3. Each WoW Pool Play Schedule will be generated randomly. 4. The top 4 Pool Play Teams in each WoW Event will advance to the Championship Bracket. 5. WoW Championship Brackets will support as many as 4 Teams. 6. Teams will be seeded for WoW Championship Brackets using Pool Play Standings. Ties will be broken by Head to Head Record. 7. The top 8 Teams in each WoW Event will receive Pro Circuit Rank Points. Pro Circuit Rank Points are awarded to each Player individually and move with the Player should they leave the Team. If a Team fails to attend all of their Matches, the Players will not receive Rank Points. 8. The top 4 WoW Teams, determined by cumulative Pro Circuit Rank Points from each Team’s top 3 Players immediately following the Anaheim Competition, will earn a spot in the WoW Championship Bracket at the National Championship Competition. These Teams will be locked after the Anaheim Competition and can only be changed if a Player is unable to attend or physically unable to play at the National Championship Competition. National Championship Competition 1. The WoW Event will consist of a Championship Bracket only. Teams must lose 2 Matches in the WoW Championship Bracket before they are eliminated from the Event. 2. The WoW Championship Bracket will support as many as 4 Teams. 3. Teams will be seeded for the WoW Championship Bracket using cumulative Pro Circuit Rank Points from each Team’s top 3 Players. Ties will be broken by performance at the final Regular Season Competition. 4. The top 4 Teams in the WoW Event will receive Pro Circuit Rank Points. If a Team fails to attend all of their Matches, the Players will not receive Rank Points. 5. The Team that wins the WoW Championship Bracket will be crowned the 2009 WoW National Champion. 2009 Live Event RegistrationAll Competitions1. WoW Events will be invitation only and there won’t be an Entry Fee. 2. After obtaining a Team Pass, all Teams must use the Team Builder to set their Roster of Players, plus Coach if applicable, before Registration closes. 3. Players and Coaches, 18 years of age and older (19 years of age and older in Alabama and Nebraska), will be able to accept the Terms of the Media Release Form upon accessing the Team Builder for their first 2009 Live Event. 4. Players and Coaches who are unable to accept the Terms of the Media Release Form upon accessing the Team Builder must bring a signed copy of the Media Release Form and Parental Consent Form to Check-In. |
