Soulful Slayer

After about a week of tryouts we picked our fourth.

First night I had about 20 people send me a message for tryouts. That night I elimenated over half of them. I could tell that they where right out bad or bad for the team. The second night we started running games with people without the rest of the tryer-outers being there. A few days passed and we narrowed it down to two people.

In the end it came down to either IGC BLBSnipes or TnG Fear, aka iT VENOM. It took us 3 days but after talking it over for awhile we voted on it and it was a 2 - 1 vote to keep TnG Fear.

We felt we worked better as a team with Fear and that he meshed better with us as a whole. We hope this team goes far in MLG.

Okay I know I haven't posted for the longest time but who cares? I have like one reader any way but I like to keep my fan impressed and up to date somewhat?

Tremors died. OOOMM dosen't play for fame anymore and neither dose Azure, Funnys replacement to be. Funny dosen't play Halo anymore which is sad but the truth. :( XL Bobo is done with college for the summer so he dosen't have high speed internet so he cant play on XBL... Needless to say I ended up leaving and looking for a new team.

After talking about it for awhile with some friends from school we decided to form a team near the middle of May. The team was "No Skill". We picked it jokingly but kept it. The team was made up of The Fat Monk, The Fat IPanda, Grimmer Reaper, and Optimal Ninja as a sub. Ninja is Monks brother but we ended up dropping him because he wouldn't practice. We played 2 game battle matches and won both them. That day was the last day the team ever played together.

Turns out since Panda graduated his dad stopped his XBL and decided he needed to "grow up". Grimmer Reaper can't follow strats so he wouldn't last long plus he is to angry at times. Ninja just got dropped because he wouldn't practice and thinks COD4 is better then Halo 3.

After about a month of looking for 2 players to replace our lost players we found F izZzi Xx. I played with Fiz before when I was with Good Vibe and remember how good of a player he was. He joined the team because he thankfully remembered me. He played with me and Eddie, The Fat Monk, for about a week or two before we decided we needed a fourth and soon. This was only about a week or so ago. We played with this kid, FangedWolf3, who wanted to play on a MLG team.

He wasn't good.

I was stupid and picked him up.

That was a mistake.

Me and Fiz were playing customs with kids whom we already said we where going to play with so Fang got booted. He got mad at us so he challenged 3 matches for us on game battles and we couldn't play. We booted him off that night. He was dumb enough to send me his cell phone number to tell him when we needed him on to play. If I ever choose to be a dick I may post it for everyone to annoy him.

We are restarting our team on game battles because we don't mind loosing if we rightfully lost but that kid made me mad. We are going to start matches the start of summer ladder. By tonight I should have our fourth. We had tryouts all week and have it narrowed down to 3 people but mainly only 2 have a good chance. I'll post when we have our fourth.

I'm going to try to start posting more often but it most likely wont happen. So hope this keep you all happy till I update again.

Well it has been awhile since I've posted in here so I will now. I'm on a new team, TREMORS, with my 2 old team mates OOOMM and XL Bobo. Our fourths box died so we are getting a temporary replacement for him. OOOMM got made a mod on the forums so everyone spam so you make his life harder. I put in my 2 week notice in at my job yesterday which I'm happy about. Camping starts this weekend and my friend has a 360 and Halo 3 so we are going to be LANing a lot. I'm getting the MLG special edition Astro Headset here soon which is awesome. Well don't really feel like typing much more so later.

Well, the sign ups for the GameBattle free ladder was closing Saturday at midnight. Around 2 hours before the ladder closed I realized I needed a team so I searched and about 15 minutes before the close the team Free Agents was formed. It consists of WiIL Smith, Soulful Slayer, XL Bobo, and iQ oF 4. We are actually decent for a team of basically randoms. We play well together and have hopes of doing well but we know top 128 is a long shot. Well I was just posting this to take some time up the vo-tech. Laters.

Welp, time to type this up. I got about 40 mins to waste up at the vo-tech so I'm gonna type this, listen to music, and play games. Have fun reading cause this might be random but I'll try to keep this in a semi-like order.

Guess what guys! 2 weeks and Kasie and I are having our 1 year annivery (sp?...). I know what I want to get her but I cant find it anywhere... I hope I can find it before the 30th... Also, I got a job at GameStop! W00T!

Camping season is over now. I haven't gone over for awhile anyway because of having stuff to do at my house and having work. O well, maybe my cousin Ben and I will go out camping once or twice this winter... who knows we might just take Curt.

Oh, just like last week... yeah last week we had to take some test for school or something... I donno it was kinda stupid but cool because I got out of all my classes for the most part basically. My entire class was on AIM talking to one another too because we know how to get on AIM at school because we are awsome like that. I was talking to Mitch and Jason but Jason wasnt telling me the answers when I was asking him for them... Mitch tried to help me so hes cool.

O I also might beable to make it onto the honor role for the first time in my entire life this marking period. =) So far this school year is going very good. I'm doing well in all my classes for the most part.

My mom just got a PSP the other week so now we have every system that people play anymore except for the PS3, which is a waste of money. *waits to get flamed* I got FF1 and D&D Tactics for the PSP and they are both cool. I don't know what I'm supposed to do now though in FF1 because I havent played it for awhile so I'll just level my people up and get gil.

I've recently got 3 Xbox 360 games since Halo 3 came out. I got Hitman Blood Money, Enternal Sonata, and Kengo Legend of the 9. Honestly, Kengo is probably the hardest game that I have played in awhile. I dont think I would recommend Kengo even though now that I know how to play it I like it. The next and probably last game I'm getting for the year is GH 3. I'm going to the midnight relase for it and since there is a tournament I was going to particapate in it even though I suck at GH 2. Except I cant be in the tournament now since I work at GameStop. O well I don't mind. Let's just hope we don't break another 62 inch Hi-Def flat screen T.V. again like at the Halo 2 tournament. =)

Kasie is soon done with band =) so me and her can hang out like we used to. She is upset that we can't really hang out much right now because of work, band, and crap like that. I'm looking forward to spending time with her like I used to.

Well that is it I guess. I'm sure the list can go on and on for awhile but I only got about 12 mins and I wanna go watch some video's on the Game Room.

Sorry about not updating for awhile this post is mainly going to be short but I'm going to post another about how my life is going right now because this one is for Good Vibe the next will be about how my life is now.

Ok me and my team, Good Vibe, decided before Halo 3 was even out since we where so close to it being released we would just play Halo 2 for fun even though we did it competitively. Now that it has been out for awhile we have been able to get used to it and learn the majority of what it has to offer we think we are ready for GameBattle's. We want to see how we do in that Fall, Winter, and maybe Spring ladder. We probably will start doing MLG Online Tournament's the moment they get relased. There was a switch up on our roster though. Since T.J., OOOMM, isn't able to get on anymore really, his college internet sucks, we picked up Mitch's brother Sean or was it Shawn... o well. His GT is xXAegisXx so all of you that read this spam him. He is a good slayer but thats all he can do. We are working with him to get more objective so if we ever need him to do it he can.

For those whom are wondering I still can play Halo 2 nearly as good as I used to but since nearly everyone whom I play with regularly are on Halo 3 I'm rarely on Halo 2.

Well, School started Tuesday and it seems like this is going to be a interesting year. I'm up the vo-tech in the morning which I don't mind I guess. The I have to go down to the homeschool early which sucks. I have Biology but the teacher dosen't seem to bad. Then Math, which is my best subject, but the teacher's voice makes you want to rip your ears off... Then I have a Art Design class, I'm not good at art though, the class seems like it will be fun though. Then I have lunch with my girlfriend. =) Then I have gym which is going to be cool. Then English with a crazy teacher... Well I'm done for now I'll probably post more soon.

Ok, to follow up on my last post this weekend we did Fear Factor at my camp ground. Now with all things being we cant be spending millions of dollars like the show but we can make do. The first two events where easy so we beat people easy but the final event is the one everyone dreaded. We had to eat Sweetbread (a cow gland next to the stomach), Tripe (Pig stomach), and Cow tounge. The only thing that grossed me out was the tripe... I could not stomach it much but I did. The other two wheren't a problem. Welp, I'm thinking about looking for a new team I think I will start when I get back from camping in two weeks cause I wont be on for a week after this weekend. Ok my past two weekends have been fun. 2 weeks ago, Me and my friend Curt found 2 office chairs with wheels and raced them down a hill around midnight. It was pretty fun but I lost 2 wheels the one time. Last weekend I was down my campground and sang Karaoke and danced to the DJ. I sang All Star by Smash mouth and Come Sail Away by Styx. I danced to the classic ones like Electric Slide, Cha Cha Slide, and those sort of songs. Normally, I dance to all the songs but I wasn't up for it. Next weekend they are having their own Fear Factor sort of dares. And the weekend after I'm spending a week camping with my friends so that should be fun. Welp, I'll keep those of you who read these up to date.

Well people lately I've been finding myself looking more and more into the recent past. You know what the one thing I've noticed from it all? I wouldn't change a thing. For those of you who don't want to read something off MLG topic then this Blog post isn't for you and for those who don't mind, I hope you like it.

Well, mainly I've been thinking just from the end of the school year to the current night. I remember how even though I would rarely admit it, I do like going to school. Not for the learning but to see my friends and hang out with them on a near daily basis. As the school year came to a close we had our semi-anual Halo 2 Tornament in school. Now you have to understand no one in my school is that good... Without really trying or doing any weapon glitches really I won every match with almost always a 10 point spread, first to 25. I even tried doing 2v2 challenge's and having a kid whom just got a Xbox and Halo 2 and also is colorblind, but I've known him since I was like 5 lol, so I had a pretty bad team mate. Well, We won the matches hands down, best of 3, intill the final match. I was wondering how Braxton could keep within about 8 points of me in a FFA till everyone else told me he screen watches so it went into the final round and I decided to start doing my weapon glitches. I was laughing every time one of them died cause all you would hear is "****!" or "Josh stop ****ing cheating!" but it was all in good fun. I loved it though because the teachers didn't care cause you could hear us anywhere in the top 2 floors of the school. But then we had to leave cause the teacher that we where doing the tornament in went to lunch so we ordered pizza to be delivered to the school and nearly everyone got their own pie. You need to understand though my school is strict so wasn't easy getting the pizza in. While we where waiting for the pizza to get there we played some basketball down in the gym which was fun and walked around to see our old teachers, Mrs. Mattern was playing Wii and kicking eveyone's erm butt at bowling. That is how the rest of the last day of school went but that day wasn't all joy and sunshine... I found out I failed Science...

I didn't mind failing it and I didn't mind going to summer school. I woke up earlier then normal (7 am) and went to class (8 am) saw my friends, yes my friends aren't smart either, got out of class (9:30 am) and was home by 9:45 am about 3 hours earlier then I would normally wake up. So inturn I actually liked going to summer school for the fact I saw some of my friends, had a fuller day, and passed science with a 91%. =) During my free time this summer I mainly spent it either playing Xbox 360 or with my girlfriend, Kasie.

For the most part I was with my girlfriend. I've been going out wither her since 2006 O' Hallowseve, yeah so its been awhile. I go over her house and spend a few hours with her almost every day or two. She want's me to teach her how to play Halo 2 but I tried and she can't seem to pick it up... >.> Well even though she dosen't play Halo I wouldn't change her. She dose though get a little annoyed with how much I play Halo and my other games... But we will never fight about it. I just came home from her house tonight, we where watching the movie Preminison or something like that, was bored and deiced to type this especally after finding out my mic is broke for my 360...

I hope for those of you whom did read threw this like it. Now all I need to do is keep enjoying my summer for school starts in a month and even though I miss it I know after about 2 weeks I'm going to be wanting out. Sad this is when I finally do leave the school for good I'm going to miss it and think about all the fun times I had.

Ok... Well as you can tell we have/had a full team. Qualitty hasn't been practicing with us even when he says he will so we might be looking for 1 to replace him. Even if Qualitty stays with us we are going to need a sub for awhile when OOOMM goes to his girlfriends house for a few weeks soon. Well other then that my Halo 2 life is pretty good. I'm seeming to improve as an Objective/Slayer so I'm proud of that. Not doing with Halo 2 but I got the Harry Potter book and finished it and I liked it. I'm thinking about getting a capture card soon but not for creating montages... I'm going to be captureing gameplay to see what I should work on and stuff along those lines.

Alright! We finally found our fourth! It is one of Azure's old team mates Qualitty. Now all we need is to figure out a team name... Anyone willing to give me idea's I'll be thankful. =) Well, We are also going to be doing scrims now so if your a new team and need to scrim hit me up and I get everything rolling hopefully. Also, I'm going to be looking for someone who could, once we figure out a team name, make us a team sig for on the forums. So if you make sig's again hit me up but we would prefer it being someone that knows what they are doing instead of someone new to it. Welp, right now I'm bored, watching VoD, on MySpace, and sitting in the hill on a KoTH custom since I dont like main menu or pregame. Ok, right now some of you may have seen that I am now a member of nameless team but my other team mates are DTO xAzur3x and OOOMM. We are a fairly well team but what we really need is a strong main slayer. The cool thing though is that we are all relatively close to one another. Well since I'm not the type to normally post blogs I don't know how this will turn out. I know that next to no one is going to end up reading this but oh well I'm bored. I am currently training for MLG online tournaments. Anyone want to play FFA's or MLG customs send me a friend request, Soulful Slayer, with MLG in the message. Also, I'm looking to join a partially full team or start one with someone. I'm in EST time but I'm on a lot, 4:00 pm - 1:00 am, in less I go to my girlfriends which I will get on around 8:00 pm. On weekends I'm on as much as possible. One thing that is a must for any team that I am in is activeness, wow thats a word!?, I will not stay long if people aren't active.
