Q&A with KillerCrank

| First off, how was your trip to Chicago. Did everything go smoothly? Absolutely. I picked up my three other team members and drove us all to Cedar Point to celebrate our victory in Dallas. We felt it was well deserved. Getting to the event itself was a different story, however, as I passed up the venue a few times on our way here. Coming into the event, how confident are you feeling about your team? We feel very confident. We communicated with each other about some weaknesses we felt were in our game and did what we could to resolve them in time for Chicago. What types of things did you do to prepare for the event? Tons of practice. In the time since Dallas, we’ve jumped online at any given chance to hone our skills as much as humanly possible. The saying holds true: practice really does makes perfect. Do you do anything differently to prepare for LANs, as opposed to Xbox Live? There are quite a few things that work out better on LAN as opposed to online. Certain routes, for example. We’ve tried to narrow these down and use them to our advantage. There’s a lot of talk about this event being a bit less predictable than events prior, mainly because of how closely matched the final few teams were in Dallas. Aside from yourselves, who do you think has the best chance of taking home the crown? As always, vVv Vision looks very strong. LGD Red also has a great shot at taking this thing home. However of the two, I’d put my money on vVv Vision. Pick one: Individual skill or Team chemistry. Team chemistry. Once chemistry is established, it can sharpen individual skill in the process. People may see this differently, but I don’t see how. Last time I checked, there is no “I” in team.
