StK Move to Shadowrun Finals

| Fan favorites Shoot to Kill took the Shadowrun Winners Bracket Finals in Chicago with a completely dominant display against Pure. The first game, Pinnacle Attrition, showed a strictly superior early team build from Shoot to Kill. The team, which suffered in a previous match from a lack of first round resurrection, made a key adjustment for the Winners Bracket Finals. oNeEye, the team’s human, handed out money, to give Ogre 2 and eXt teleport. oNeEye purchased resurrect and Walshy picked up his usual tree. Pure, by contrast, had only one teleporter among their ranks. StK used this to their advantage, sending Ogre 2 and eXt to double team him off the bat while Walshy and oNeEye conservatively sent cover fire across the map to the opponent’s landing. After eliminating the enemy elf, Ogre 2 and eXt were virtually invincible, simply teleporting to the top catwalks whenever their life was in jeopardy. After the first round victory, the team used an aggressive rushing strategy to pound out further wins. While many people opt to pick up rifles and hit long shots on Pinnacle, eXt caused panic among enemy ranks by using an SMG almost exclusively. Combined with teleport and swift communication from oNeEye, eXt was able to keep opposing riflers from hitting many shots. |
