On the Xbox 360 stage in Chicago, Shoot to Kill closed out Shadowrun’s inaugural stop on the Pro Circuit with a convincing display. In doing so, Ogre 2 and Walshy can now claim to have won national tournaments in three different titles. In fact, Ogre 2 and Walshy are currently members of the top-ranked squad in two different titles. Their sheer mastery of competitive gaming is truly something to behold. Also notable is the surprisingly developed teamwork the team displayed in Chicago. During their matches, Shoot to Kill’s teamwork, strategizing and cohesion was always a solid notch ahead of the competition.
Shadowrun champions StK (Shoot To Kill) are (l to r) eXt, Ogre 2, oNeEye, and Walshy.
The first game, Nerve Center (Small) Attrition, saw StK (Lineage) unfold their standard build. With handouts from oNeEye, the team purchased two resurrects, a tree of life, and three rifles (with eXt using a pistol). Pure opted to spread their purchases more evenly, buying two resurrects, Enhanced Vision, and Tree of Life in their two-elf, human and troll setup. The extra cash was given to Oldbie (elf) to purchase a rifle. |
