With their lack of Enhanced Vision, Shoot to Kill sent eXt to grab the artifact early, effectively giving the team a superior vision option of its own. eXt soon identified a 3 – 1 split rush from Pure, with Oldbie blazing down the Sky Bride. While the threat was identified, Pure were simply too aggressive in their charge for StK to effectively react. A pair of lobbed grenades from Oldbie gave pure an advantage, as Pure tore through StK’s troops in the ensuing melee. In Round 2, both sides opted to invest in teleports. StK started passively as usual and Pure once more pressured hard down the elevator banks. This time, Shoot to Kill adjusted by rotating towards the Sky Bridge and forcing Pure’s players to funnel through the vulnerable passage by the balcony. The tactic leveled the score at one round each. In the third buying round, Walshy completed his build, mapping his usual Teleport, Wired Reflexes and Strangle. Strong killing from Walshy pushed Shoot to Kill ahead 2 – 1. As the match progressed, StK slowly built up their arsenal. After five rounds, Shoot to Kill had amassed a 4 – 1 lead and had put sniper rifles into the hands of each of their elves. |
