FBI The Agency Eliminate Carbon!

| Game, set and match for Carbon. The reigning champions have now been swept by both Str8 Rippin and The Agency. The fourth-place finish stands as the team’s lowest placing in the past two seasons. Carbon’s Losers Bracket Semifinal match against FBI The Agency started on a positive note, as Carbon seized a 4 – 1 lead during CTF Warlock. Things started to turn as The Agency chipped away at the lead, leveling the score at four captures with a minute remaining in regulation. When The Agency eventually logged their fifth and final capture, Carbon looked completely deflated. Games 2 and 3 slipped away, as Carbon were never able to regroup and regain their collective team focus. All in all, it was a quite uncharacteristic performance for the team. Carbon’s elimination ensured that, like the previous two years, a new team will reach the Championship Match in the Windy City. The Agency now enter the Losers Bracket Finals best-of-11 series at a 3 – 1 deficit to Str8 Rippin. |
