Chicago’s Championship Match featured the unlikely pairing of Final Boss against the new look Str8 Rippin roster. Str8 Rippin entered the match riding high after topping both Carbon and FBI The Agency. However, the seventh-seeded squad entered the Finals with a 3-1 deficit to overcome, thanks to Final Boss' win over Str8 in the Winners Bracket Finals.

Final Boss set the tone early in the match, as both Ogre 2 and Strongside grabbed the initial sniper spawns on Sanctuary Team Slayer. Final Boss held down the red side of the map as Ogre 2 and Strongside picked off Str8 Rippin players in tandem. Final Boss’ lead built to 11 before Str8 Rippin finally broke through the setup and grabbed a newly spawned sniper rifle. Str8 put the sniper in the hands of Neighbor, who had been on fire with precision shooting all tournament. While his snipes narrowed Final Boss’ lead, the initial 11-point margin proved to be too great to overcome.
