| Xenios called it. In an mlgpro.com interview conducted just days before the event, he was asked to predict the Rainbow Six Vegas Top 8. Self admittedly, predicting your own team to win a tournament is… well… predictable. However, Xenios claimed he had not felt this confident about a team in ages, and rightfully so. Once again, congratulations to Professional Skills on becoming crowned MLG Chicago Champions. Pro Skills’ opponents, The Last Resistance, went undefeated throughout the entire tournament until the final match. The task was anything but easy for them, though. TLR were forced to go toe-to-toe with some of the Pro Circuit’s biggest names along their road to the championship. TU Dynasty, Executioners West, and even Professional Skills themselves felt the wrath of TLR early on in the tournament. As the two teams were called to the Xbox 360 Main Stage, a large crowd of spectators gathered in expectation of the rematch. The first game was announced as Streets Redux Conquest. You could see TLR’s faces light up, as the map has always been a strong point for them in the past. |
