In addition to game play changes, the tournament rosters have seen some tweaks. In Chicago, several teams were forced to seek last minute replacements, with various players unable to make it to Chicago for the tournament. Although there were a flurry of proposed an rumored roster changes between events, StK’s top competitors from Chicago have remained relatively similar. Second-seeded MDG Pure ultimately opted to keep their Chicago roster intact and are looking to avenge (pun intended) their loss to StK. Pure have reportedly locked down a week-long boot camp in preparation for the event. While 18-hour practice sessions may sound like overkill, the team believes the training will optimize their chances of claiming Orlando’s title. Nistic and Shook On3 left the fourth-rated team, Everest
The Pro Circuit’s last pro squad, Everest, saw the departure of its two highest-profile players. Nistic and Shook On3 left the squad following Orlando and have been replaced by Soldier and Czarkasm. Of course, beyond the pro ranks are a host of squads looking to make waves in Orlando’s bracket. TsK, coached by xXx, will look to challenge the higher-seeded teams. N0M4D makes a return to Pro Circuit action as a member of EOG: First Strike and LegendJRG is testing his Shadowrun skills once more as a member of Eternal Existence. |
