In a rivalry that last played out on the main stage in the Dallas finals, Vision met up with Nsanez today in the Loser's Bracket finals to fight for the chance to meet Infinity in the GoW final match-up. For those of you keeping a close eye on the developments within the Gears of War competition this weekend, you have undoubtedly seen the name Nsanez more than once. After a late match on Friday that crept into the early hours of the morning, Nsanez showed up ready to play and surprisingly refreshed for their Saturday match-ups. Ousting TLR early in the tournament, they were later tasked with taking on their own B-squad. Emerging from both matches with a "W," Nsanez was poised to take on perennial Gears of War favorites Vision in the Loser's Bracket finals. While there is no question that both teams are on top of their game, both MLG staff and spectators alike were wondering whether Nsanez's tedious trek had them running on empty. Jumping out to an early lead, Vision claimed Mansion by a convincing score of 4-1. Following up their strong opening round with another positive showing, logging a slim 4-3 victory on Clocktower. Not to be outdone, Nsanez showed that they are the undisputed king of War Machine shutting out Vision 4-0. However at the end of the day Vision's commitment to the game and teamwork helped them clinch the final map, Gridlock, by a score of 4-2, earning their spot in the finals against Infinity.
