| Harmony n Havoc walked into MLG Orlando with the fourth seed and an enormous amount of confidence in hand. In preparation for the event, HnH packed in as many scrimmages as they possibly could in the time since MLG Chicago. Apparently their hard work paid off, as they stormed through the Winners Bracket, en route to a total undefeated victory of MLG Orlando. Congratulations to Harmony n Havoc for defeating New Era to officially bag their first MLG Championship. Serving as a continuation match from an earlier meeting, Harmony n Havoc came into the match boasting a 3-1 lead over New Era. This fact meant the match would consist of a best-of-11 series, in which the first team to win six games would be crowned victorious. Kicking off the final match was Doscala Restaurant Conquest. HnH were able to capture two quick satellites, with Finest and Phobia each guarding one once they were secured. Running out of ammo while guarding his satellite, Phobia pulled out his Glock 18 to successfully ward off any intruding opponents. The first half of the map ended with an HnH victory of 3000 to 1210. For its second half, Phobia once again came out strong, almost single-handedly holding the top level. New Era were eventually able to three-cap the satellites, but unfortunately it was a moment too late, as HnH had already racked up the 1215 points they needed to win Doscala Restaurant. |
