| The Championship Bracket for Shadowrun kicked off in Las Vegas with the Open Champions, Uprising, facing fourth-seeded The Last Resistance. The teams battled for a chance to meet the top-seeded squad, Shoot to Kill. The teams started Game 1, Attrition on Lobby (Small), trading rounds. Tied at 2, the teams focused attention on the Sky Bridge, which resulted in extremely short rounds. Utilizing strangle, Uprising took two straight rounds, giving them a 4-2 lead. TLR bounced back, however, and won two rounds in a row for themselves. The teams then traded rounds, bring Game 1 to a crucial round 11. Soldier put on a fantastic performance throughout the game, ultimately tallying 24 kills to just 10 deaths, with eight resurrections, leading Uprising to a 6-5 win in Game 1. How can a team have a negative kill-to-death ratio, including a player with only two kills during a game, and still manage to win? Extracting the artifact, of course. Game 2 moved to Pinnacle for Extraction and Uprising used the game type to their advantage. The Open Champions scored on their first two attempts, while TLR attempted to play the game more like Attrition. After four rounds, the score was 4-0 in favor of Uprising. TLR managed to keep the artifact away from the scoring zone in round five and managed a win, which they then pressed into another round victory, making the score 4-2. Uprising kept the momentum from getting out of hand, however, by extracting the artifact in round seven and then finished the game the next round, winning 6-2. The team scored 23 total kills, while dying 27 times, but still managed to dominate the scoreboard. With the win, Uprising move to Round 2 to face top-seeded Shoot to Kill.
