TSK Defeat Secret Weapon

| The Shadowrun Championship Bracket Winners Semifinals featured the two finalists from MLG Orlando, Three Shot Killas and Secret Weapon. The winner would automatically qualify for the prize pool and meet Shoot to Kill in the Winners Bracket Finals. The teams traded the first two rounds in Game 1, Attrition on Lobby (Small), before TSK rattled off four rounds in a row, giving them a 5-1 lead. Their third-seeded opponents, however, would not go quietly. Secret Weapon rallied for two straight round wins, cutting the TSK lead to 5-3, but they could not make the monumental comeback. TSK finished the game with a 6-3 win. Game 2 moved to Nerve Center for Extraction. TSK used the momentum from their opening win to snag the first five rounds, thanks in part to the advantage they gained from teleporting in round one. The series looked to be over at 5-0, but, like Game 1, Secret Weapon simply refused to go quietly. The underdogs miraculously tied the game at five with tight teamwork. Round 11 was a tense affair, as both teams looked to exploit mistakes. Panik managed to clear a player from Secret Weapon, but in the process went down himself and was cleared. With the action down to three players per team, both squads seemed tentative to press. Eventually, TSK cleared another Secret Weapon player, giving them the 3v2 advantage. They could not turn that into a win, however, as both teams waited as time ran out. With 10 seconds left, Secret Weapon rushed, but neither team managed significant kills. The round ended with two players alive for both teams, but the screen flashed a win for TSK due to money earned. That win gave them the 6-5 game victory and the series.
