Carbon Avoid Upset in Winners Round 1

The 2007 national runners-up, Carbon, found a tougher opponent than expect in Winners Bracket Round 1 of the Halo 3 Championship event at the Meadowlands. Rainbow Riders extended Carbon to four games, winning The Pit Team Slayer 50-42. Carbon logged wins on CTF Narrows (3-1 on the back of Ghostayame's 27-15 game), Construct King of the Hill 241-205, and Guardian Oddball 250-190. The 3-1 series win moved Carbon to Winners Bracket Round 2.
