GoW Open Playoff Winners Bracket Finals

 One of the final rounds of Open Bracket competition has hit us, and a train has rolled through the Dallas Gears of War competition. Picking up steam earlier in the tournament, Dynasty Retaliation came in with the skill and experience to compete against some of the top teams here in Major League Gaming. Showing how powerful they were in Toronto, it was nothing but expected that they would power their way through the Open Bracket here in Dallas this weekend. Surely coming into their match-up against Dignitas with their game plan set, Dynasty Retaliation quickly played right through the European powerhouse in three maps. Taking War Machine with the sheer force of Jaemercs and Terror, Dignitas had one of their best shots of taking the series on this map. Heading into Clocktower, Dynasty Retaliation was able to angle themselves perfectly in numerous rounds to take down that all important first member. Failing to stop the push in the 3v4 situation, Dignitas found themselves losing round after round to a very aggressive Dynasty Retaliation. Fuel Depot would lay rest to Dignitas in the Winners Bracket as they opened up with a sloppy first round. Despite the first round win stopping the flank, Dignitas struggled to hold onto the lead very quickly. Picking up on Dignitas' middle push, Dynasty Retaliation would put up multiple flanks to stopp Dignitas from picking up Boomshot and overall just downing multiple members at a time. Tying the map at a 2-2 score, Dignitas could not stop Prison in the fifth and final round as he pushed directly through three members of Dignitas. Although heading into the Losers Bracket Finals, Dignitas still has another chance of taking out Dynasty Retaliation if they are able to emerge from the Losers Bracket.
