Gears LB R2 Wrap Up

 The lights are bright tonight in Las Vegas tonight as the National Championship is running it's course. After two rounds of Losers Bracket play, two powerhouse teams are going home early. Looking to change their ways after a dramatic loss against TH3 NSAN3Z, FRAG High Caliber found themselves against the veteran squad vBi. Taking a quick first map from vBi, High Caliber had no problem through the series. Dropping Clocktower to vBi in a very close match-up, Rage was able to make up for their earlier loss against TH3 NSAN3Z. Barreling through vBi on War Machine, High Caliber found themselves leading vBi 2-1 overall and on their way to the next round of the Losers Bracket. Taking vBi one more time on Mansion, High Caliber pushed themselves to the top in a close match-up that entailed some ridiculous shots by Alinorth of vBi. This performance was not enough however, as High Caliber advanced into the next round of the Losers Bracket with nothing to lose. Looking to dominate competition yet again, Dynasty Retaliation had everything on the line as they came into the Losers Bracket early on. Stuggling early on against High Caliber, Retaliation felt the need to capitalize on their position in the Losers Bracket. Jumping directly on top of vVv Prophecy, Jaemercs and Drix yet again had no problem plowing through the likes of RMan and crew. Three maps later, Dynasty Retaliation found themselves back in the situation they had earlier against High Caliber. Having a previous 3-1 loss against High Caliber, Dynasty Retaliation will need an impressive improvement to be able to overcome their odds tonight.
