Gears Winners Final and Losers Round 3 Wrap Up

 Looking toward primetime MLG action, we are clearing through the competition here in Gears of War as Fallout and his crew will be heading to the Losers Bracket Final tonight. Proving to the world just how dominating their roster is here in Las Vegas, FRAG High Caliber found their stride in a continuing series against Dallas' Open Bracket Champions and fourth seeded team Dynasty Retaliation. Giving up Mansion rather early in this second series, High Caliber seemed to be losing a bit of their steam as Retaliation regained their energy for a long series. Making sure to end Retaliation's run as soon as possible, High Caliber had different plans for the evening. Performing like we have never seen before, Rage put on a show and a half for us in the final maps of the series. After dropping Retaliation once on Fuel Depot, we stepped into Fuel Depot once more to see High Caliber absolutely shut down Retaliation. Rage's boom shot was definitely the star of the map as multiple long distance shots lit up the spectators and players alike. Heading onto Canals, Rage once again stepped it up with his shotgun, turning around on anybody that would cross paths with his weapon. Perhaps Retaliation's strongest map, they were down in the ditches and had no chance coming back as High Caliber put their best foot forward. Having no problem themselves in the Winners Bracket Final, TH3 NSAN3Z absolutely went to work on Infinity. Sweeping Infinity in only three maps, it seemed as though nothing could stop the four man team of TH3 NSAN3Z. Heading into the Championship well ahead of the competition now, TH3 NSAN3Z are riding high and dry as Infinity has plenty to overcome against the red hot High Caliber squad. |
