Classic Upsets Instinct 3-1 in the LBR8 -- Instinct to Play BtH for 5th Place

 Looking to move into the Final Four at MLG Columbus, third-seeded Instinct just needed to defeat the ninth seed, Classic. Game 1, CTF on The Pit, started promisingly, as Instinct controlled the map and notched a 3-1 win. Whether Classic decided to ramp things up or Instinct fell of their game, Game 2 became a huge turning point. Chig and Soldier had phenomenal games on Team Slayer Construct, which Classic won 50-42. The series was now a best of three. Classic took the initiative during Game 3's Oddball Lockdown, crushing Instinct 250-155. Legend was absolutely amazing, as he racked up 36 kills to just 18 deaths. Suddenly Instinct needed two in a row to avoid elimination. Given the chance, Classic went for the kill. Onslaught Capture the Flag saw Classic take a 2-0 lead. The teams traded scores until the board read 4-2. Here Instinct made their move, tying the score at four. The crowd sensed a comeback victory, but Classic played unbelievably well and pushed the last flag across, winning 5-4.
