![]() Now that the dust has settled from the second stop along the 2009 Pro Circuit in Columbus, it’s time to recognize Halo 3 and Gears of War 2’s Most Valuable Players! From Halo 3, Pistola from Triggers Down has been named the MVP for his outstanding performance throughout the entire weekend. Although Triggers Down had one of the more difficult paths in the tournament, Pistola still managed to walk away with a +84 kill/death ratio while the rest of his team had a combined total of -2. On top of this impressive display of slaying, he chalked up 26% of Triggers Down’s objective time throughout the event. This marks the second straight event in which Pistola has been named the MVP. On the Gears of War 2 front, a big congratulation goes out to Prison for his performance with his team, MbN: The Business. Prison came into Columbus as the newcomer on The Business and was put under intense pressure and scrutiny to perform well. His hard work and dedication was justified when MbN: The Business took home the Columbus title and secured their spot as a top contender. Prison stepped up in a big way in the Finals, and played big role in their victory over the 2008 National Champions, The NSAN3Z. Congratulations to Pistola and Prison for being named MLG Columbus’ Most Valuable Players, and look for them to make noise at the next event in Dallas! |
