Triggers Down Tops Carbon, Advances to Championship Match

 In case you missed it, the Winners Bracket Finals here at MLG Dallas has just ended, and we’ve got the results. After together head turning performances on ESPN Saturday Night, Triggers Down and Carbon went head to head live on MLG Championship Sunday. Although they had already secured a Top 3 finish, both teams had much larger ambitions. The winner would move on to the Finals, while the losers would drop the Losers Bracket Finals to take on Instinct with only one shot at redemption. Many people expected Carbon to fall hard to Triggers Down in a quick and painless series. However, they gave Triggers Down the fight of their tournament lives. Unfortunately for Carbon, it just wasn’t enough. In the end, Triggers Down proved to be just too much to handle as they eventually went on to topple Carbon in a very lopsided fifth and final game. Carbon is now gearing up to take on Walshy’s former team, Instinct, in the Losers Bracket Finals. Meanwhile, Triggers Down will stand by and battle it out with the winner in the MLG Dallas Finals.
