Over the weekend, GameBattles.com hosted a Heretic Free-For-All Tournament on the Halo 3 Arena. For a fee of 20 credits, 128 participants, including a number of MLG Pros, entered the tournament for a chance to win the first ever MLG Heretic FFA Tournament. After the field was cut down to just 8 players, Snipedown took over the competition, and took home the cash! The tournament was a great success and a ton of fun, and we're always glad to see the winners earn some money -- but the best part about the whole thing? There's another Free-For-All Tournament coming up in just a few weeks! Keep reading for all of the info. Free-For-All Tournaments are all about players' individual skill, and with 128 players going head-to-head throughout the afternoon, we saw a ton of that. The championship match in the Heretic Free-For-All tournament consisted of eight players, who truly earned their stripes by even making it this far, battling it out in one 15-minute long, every-man-for-themselves style match for all the marbles. When all was said and done, Snipedown stood victorious with 76 kills and 54 deaths. That's 13 more kills than the 2nd place winner BRAKEE and is also the third-lowest death total out of the whole group. That's pure domination right there! Brakee performed well, accumulating 63 kills and only 53 deaths in the finals -- one less than the winner. Third-place finisher Destin totaled 59 kills while enduring 56 deaths. Check out the final results here. The match featured some amazing talent, and luckily for you, we've managed to track down the video to prove it. Now, on to some even more exciting news -- the Halo ODST Heretic FFA Pre-Halloween Bash! You can register to participate in this tournament for just 20 GameBattles Credits! Play with the pros, gauge your talent, and most importantly, win some cash! Why wait? Sign Up For the Next Heretic FFA Tournament! |
