MLG Interviews Pistol and the J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets

 MLG: Let’s look forward. How are you going to prepare for Dallas? Mimic: We have been on almost every day since Columbus and we plan on being on whenever we can. I have been playing every day with or without any teammates on. I'm trying to improve my individual play as well. We are going to be focusing every night like it’s a tournament and talking out our mistakes. IceVayne: Definitely going to be practicing as much as we can, and get more of a feel as a team on how we want to execute on all the gametypes. Maybe throwing in a LAN closer to the event would be nice. Arkanum: PRACTICE MUCHOOOOO!!! I would love to try to get a LAN going, but getting me to the event is hard enough. Overall, lots of practice together and lots of getting ourselves individually more prepared. Any kinks will be mostly, if not definitely, worked out by Dallas. Whatever individual kinks we have will also be ironed out. Pistol: We have been playing a pretty good amount. We are trying to fix our little mistakes and then work from there. We will be ready for Dallas. MLG: So then what are your goals for Dallas? Mimic: 1st place. I don't know why anyone else would go to a tournament to place lower. We all know it’s going to take everything we have but we are prepared to lay it all on the line. Pistol: Win. We can contend with the best, and we plan on doing it at Dallas. Arkanum: We will do our best and play every series as though it's the Finals. Losing is not an option, but it is accepted as a learning experience. IceVayne: I think our goal for Dallas is to win it all. We definitely have the drive to do so. Arkanum: It'll be hard but we'll be ready. .jpg)
Although they were eventually ousted by Classic, Columbus was still a huge success for Pistol and the Jets.
MLG: Will you be "Pistol and the Jets?" Pistol: (laughs) Come on. How could we not? IceVayne: Of course! Mimic: For sure! That’s what everyone knows us as and we have some good ideas for a jersey. Arkanum: Pistol and the Jets FOREVERRRR!!! It's symbolic for so many reasons, so we’re definitely keeping it. Mimic: It worked in Columbus! MLG: Alright, So is there anything you'd like to say to the many Pistol and the Jets supporters out there? IceVayne: Thanks to everyone who chanted for Pistol and the Jets in Columbus. Especially the Missouri kids who started most of the J-E-T-S chants. Mimic: Thank you to everyone who chanted for us or even watched us play. We appreciate all the support and feedback we've gotten. We won't let you down come Dallas. We will be 100% and ready to game. Pistol: Just thank you and we’ll see them in Dallas. Arkanum: I love you all and expect lots of chanting at Dallas - or else! Seriously though, it means a lot to have you all supporting us and we couldn't ask for better fans. MLG: One last thing : Can we expect to see you guys in our next Pro-Am Showcase? Mimic: For sure, I'd love to. Pistol: Yep! IceVayne: I’m definitely up for it! |
