Moe Gives His Dallas Halo 3 Predictions

With only a few days remaining until MLG Dallas kicks off, we're here to bring you some MLG Player Predictions. In our third round of Dallas Player Predictions, we bring you Moe of M&M's predictions. Enjoy!
Moe (front) sees Classic finishing outside of the Top 8. What do you think?
1. Str8 Rippin - Str8 Rippin is an amazing team, and after the first place finish at Columbus, you can't deny their skill and determination. Snipedown's skill is off the roof, but I think nowadays he is being overshadowed by Hysteria and Pistola. He is just a very smart player and knows how to win. I'm going to be excited for this team at Dallas, because no team has won consecutive tournaments in Halo 3; let's see if Str8 can do it. 2. Instinct - With the pickup of Ghostayame, I could see Instinct finally winning. However, Str8 Rippin is going to be a tough hurdle. I predict them 2nd just because they've got the Instinct curse. If they are on fire though, I could definitely see this team winning the event. 3. Final Boss - Strongside's back! After watching him play on sQ, I was truly amazed! I think the combo of Ogre 2, Victory X, FearItself, and Strongside on the same team will do wonders. I can't wait to watch this team do work, but Top 3 will fit them well. 4. Triggers Down - I know 4th place is pretty bad for this team, but their bracket is a little tough. Playing Instinct in WB Semi-finals, then FB or Str8 in Losers Bracket, I do not see them winning this tournament. 5. Carbon - This team is a real confusing team. I do not know much about them, but I know they all have the skill, and with the leadership of Walshy, I do not think they can do worst then 5th. I think if this team really clicks during tournament play, Top 3 won't be an issue. 6. Believe The Hype - The loss of Sypher was tragic, but they got an outstanding pickup in Maniac. I do not believe that they will fall out of the Top 8. Since it's so close to the event, I do not think they will get Top 3, but they are a great group of guys. After scrimming them online I see a lot of potential in them. 7. Status Quo - With the loss of Strongside, I see a lot of skill that needs to be made up. Ace and Flamesword are sick, Clutch has a lot of useful experience at the top, and ToTz has come a long way. I still remember him teaming with a couple of my buddies last year at Orlando. He's certainly come a long way since then. 8. Overnight Sensation - I really wish the best for this team, Gun Shot and Eli are probably my favorite duo. I'm so glad they are back together! Gun Shot has helped me so much in the past, and I just see him right now with the best lineup so far. Teaming with Seb in the past, I know how determined he is; I hope it pays off for him. The only person I would be afraid of is Wonka. I used to be a huge fan back in H2, but it's H3 now. If he doesn't pull off the skill needed, I see Pistol and the Jets taking this spot. Sleeper - Pistol and the Jets- Pistol and the J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!! Arkanum is just too sick of a player not to make Top 8. I really hope this is their event. They are definitely my sleeper team for the event. I hope scrimming all those top teams in the past couple days is going to pay off! |
