The British Are Coming!

| UPDATE: Power Gaming has taken their LR2 match over Hydra to advance to LR3! We'll keep you updated throughout their tournament run and see how far they go! After losing in the first round of Open Bracket, Power Gaming of the UK has rallied back and advanced into the Championship Bracket and has just defeated Driven by Adrenaline in an epic 5 game series. The series opened up with a very tense Narrows CTF game which stood at a stalemate until the 14th minute when DbA managed to pull out a cap and take the first game 1-0. Game 2 came around and the boys from across the Atlantic stepped it up and beat DbA 50-41 with Reaction bringing down an impressive 16-7 to help secure the victory. The following game was Heretic Ball and it involved some vicious trash talk from Mad Max and some huge stats from Str8 SicK (38-17 with most ball time). This combination seemed fatal for the Europeans as they fell 250-151 to Driven by Adrenaline. Facing elimination, Power Gaming stepped it up once again and railed back in the 4th game of Onslaught CTF and completely shut down DbA in the final minutes to win 5-1. Game 5 was do-or-die for both teams and needless to say, England prevailed. Power gaming won 50-41 with Buk 20 going huge with a 17-7-10 showing. The team traveled over 14 hours by plane and aren't ready to go back just yet, they face team Hydra next in Losers Round 2. Congratulations once again to Power Gaming! |
