MLG's Halo 3 Film Festival - Runs Sept 25 thru Oct 25

 $2,000 in cash prizes!Halo 3’s video capturing features are sure to revolutionize the way console players create their gaming videos and the MLG Game Room is the top place on the web to post your gameplay and creative videos. The Game Room is already chock full of Halo 3 content, and a few of the best and brightest will be winning part of a $2,000 cash prize in our Halo 3 Film Festival!. In an effort to reward the hard working film makers and excellent players who record their best plays, MLG is hosting a month-long Halo 3 video contest. Players will have an opportunity to submit their Halo 3 videos to the Game Room in one of four categories. We started accepting submissions on September 25. On October 25th we will be selecting the top videos and voting to decide the winners, which will be announced on November 8th. The winner of each of the four categories will win $500 cash! All nominees will also receive an MLG Prize Pack full of MLG merchandise! Here are the categories: Most Crushing Play: Submit your single best play. This could be a nasty snipe, a crazy killtacular, an amazing triple assassination, or whatever other great play you make. If you dominate, then prove it by submitting your video to this category. Each entry is limited to one play or continuous sequence. You may submit as many entries as you like. Best Trick: Submit the most amazing trick that you can think of to this category. It could be a crazy way to get off the map, jump a gap or innovative way to drive a vehicle. If it’s tricky, this is your category. Each entry is limited to one trick. You may submit as many entries as you like. Funniest Video: This can be a funny play, a hilarious machinima video or something no one has ever thought of before. If it will make us laugh, submit it here. Videos may not be longer than 90 seconds. You may submit as many entries as you like. Most Creative Video: Does your video not exactly fall in to the above 3 categories? Maybe you’ve gone above and beyond with your editing and cinematography. Maybe it’s just something no one has ever thought of or even considered. Artists and pioneers apply here. Videos may not be longer than 90 seconds. You may submit as many entries as you like. There you have it. Be sure to save your top plays and submit them to the Game Room. All submissions must be tagged with the correct category for which you wish them to be considered. The winners of each category after the nominees are selected will earn themselves $500 and some serious bragging rights.
