Bungie Makes World Premiere of Chill Out Remake at MLG San Diego!

As promised, Bungie was on hand at MLG San Diego to unveil a “chilly” treat for the attendees of the event. Lukems and Shishka of Bungie picked up two of MLG’s biggest stars, Karma and Legend, in a 2v2 exhibition match fit for the highlight reels. Much like the exhibition match at MLG Meadowlands, the match was used to unveil a brand new map that’s very close to all of our hearts.

Now let us get straight to the point: Chill Out is back! Resurrected from the days of Halo: CE, Bungie has answered many of our prayers and recreated Chill Out in all of its glory. The new map, dubbed “Cold Storage,” will presumably be released for Halo 3 sometime soon (although Bungie is still keeping the lid on any concrete info regarding dates). When the announcement was made, the audience at MLG San Diego erupted in applause, and the very first match was then played.
