 Legendz came into the 2008 Season as one of the many amateur teams looking to enter into the pro ranks. With a roster that sported some strong talent and quite a bit of experience, the team continued to improve as the year went on. As their placings increased at each event, Best Man and Defy continued to make roster changes, hoping to attract new players to their already talented roster. Following Gandhi’s release from Carbon, Legendz jumped at the chance to add the former National Champion to their line-up. As the 2008 regular season neared its completion, Legendz acquired the last piece of their roster. Their latest addition, Legend, seemed to fit the bill of the strong leadership the team had been lacking. With only a few weeks to prepare for the Dallas Playoffs, many fans wondered if the team would be able to compensate for the lack of practice. These worries were put aside though, as Legendz ultimately prevailed, winning the Dallas Open Playoff and securing themselves the highly coveted eighth and final spot in the 2008 National Championships in Las Vegas. |
