Pre-Columbus Team Change
I’ll continue this blog from where I last left off. Due to exams and Evan’s (Gated’s) graduation, we weren’t able to put forth much time during the month of April for practice. Moe was unhappy with this and decided to look at his options, particularly a team consisting of Hunter JJX, Arkanum, and MGS1Snake. We didn’t want to wait on Moe to decide if he was going to stick with us so we made a move towards Robbie B. We’ve wanted to team with Robbie since PGL and since his team had a disappointing Meadowlands he was down to team with us. Now we had an all local team with us living 30 minutes from each other.
So we began to practice early May and due to our lack of patience, it was mostly playlist…again. Knowing this wouldn’t be enough we decided to set up a LAN with Flatline. Unfortunately Flatline went through a series of team changes and were unable to make the LAN. Fortunately however, North of 49 was down to LAN the same weekend and we played them instead. We played 3 series on Saturday and knew instantly that we were going to do well at Columbus. At the end of the day the LAN score was 24-9 but, more than 70% of the games were decided in the last minute. The remainder of the LAN was pretty even and the final score was 49-27, in our favor. The LAN ended and we had 2 weeks left before Columbus. A mixture of horrible XBL hosts, general dislike for XBL, and Evan’s XBOX red ringing led to us playing once as a team during those 2 weeks. Both Josh (Revival) and Rob were over at my house and we lanned 2v2s to get our shot down. I want to take this opportunity to thank Josh, he was always down to 1v1 me even as the scores got progressively worse :). As a result, I felt my shot was the best it has ever been.
Columbus – Let’s Go Buffalo!
Columbus arrived and we lanned LvL 99 in their room. They were a good team; we lost the first 3 games and won the next 3 games. We had a bye in round 1 and easily won our round 2. Rob went and stayed in Tusick’s room while we went back to our hotel. Knowing Saturday would be the most exhausting days, we went to bed early and got plenty of sleep. Saturday arrived, and we felt out of our element. We lost game 2 of Narrows Flag against Echelon in round 3, even though we out slayed them by around 20. We ended up winning game 3 but, knew we’d have to step up our game if we wanted to advance further. Round 4 we played Wise’s team. We lost game 1, Narrows Slayer by 3 kills. We won the flag game, and lost the 3rd game by a few kills again. Towards the end of the games we played very hectic, SCREAMING out our own callouts instead of listening to callouts. We weren’t playing with composure so we decided that from there on out we’d remain calm and thus play to our potential.
Luckily that was the end of split screen and the beginning of full screen. We plugged in our Astros (thanks to PJ for hooking us up) and were ready. We immediately felt the difference. With sound and our new found calm, we were clicking as a team and were playing amazing together. To make it out we beat Aptitude’s team (I think), Smashdown, and Piggy’s team. All of them were 2-0’s and we were feeling confident entering pro bracket. Round 1 we played Remedy who we beat 3-0. Round 2 we had a rematch with Wise’s team, but this time it was full screen. We ended up winning 3-1, but got destroyed on Guardian Ball…a recurring theme. Round 3 we played Swagger Like Us and won 3-0, and this was the only time we won Guardian Ball. Round 4, to make top 16 we played High Society. We beat High Society at Meadowlands before they went on their run so we felt confident that we could beat them again. Game 1 was Onslaught Flag and we started off strong, winning 5-0 in around 7 minutes. We won game 2. We lost game 3, Lockdown ball, but that was no surprise as we were horrible at ball games. We won game 4 and were guaranteed top 16. We went out to eat with our sponsor and Gilkey to commemorate the night.
Looking at the brackets we saw that we would have to play the Dynasty for top 12. We knew not to take them lightly because they upset Status Quo earlier. Game 1 was Pit Flag and we got off to a bad start. We got the flag onto our plat twice only to have them run ours back for a cap both times. We lost the game 3-0. Game 2 was Narrows Slayer, which we won and I had some sick snipes. Game 3 was Construct King. This was one gametype that we should have won but didn’t. Game 4 was Guardian Ball, which is by far our worst gametype and definitely the last one we wanted with our backs against the wall. We ended up losing this game and the series 3-1. Consolation began and we were to play XiT Woundz for 13/14th but, they didn’t show up. Then for 13th we played Heaven and Earth. We switched off winning games until the series was 2-2 with game 5 being Amplified Slayer. It went back and forth the entire game and the score was 47-44 in favor of HaE when both Evan and I spawned Pink 1 (a weird spawn considering we had Red Base and Carbine Control). We got lit up and ended up losing the game 50-46 and finished 14th. Coming into the tournament we wanted top 12 because this would guarantee us a pro seed but, we fell a little short.
The Parting of the Ways
After the tournament we knew we had a long break and a difficult decision ahead. Evan, on the ride back from Columbus, told us that he was most likely done playing Halo competitively to focus on school. I can’t say this came as a surprise because he was considering quitting for a long time now but, it still felt weird because Evan and I have been teaming for almost 3 years now. He wanted to go to Dallas because it was in the summer, but was certain he would not be able to make the rest of the events. In the end, he decided that it was best for the team that he quit now because of the long break before the 3rd event, giving us plenty of time to find a 4th and gel with him. I know, I speak for the rest of the team when I say that we will really miss Evan and his antics, both inside and outside of the game. We wish him the best of luck in college and I’m sure he’ll still be following MLG and watching our rise to the top :D.
Search for a 4th
We wanted to pick our 4th by July 1st but, this process would be harder than I initially thought. Rob came over to my house for a week and went through a list of 10 or so players who we wanted to run games with. Our criteria for picking the players were as follows: 1) Skill 2) Attitude 3) Points 4) Chemistry with us. Needless to say, skill was our #1 priority. Now that there was a good possibility that we’d have a pro seed, we wanted to pick up someone who could hold their own against the best players in the world. Attitude was the second most important aspect in our selection process because we felt a player’s attitude makes or breaks the team. We wanted someone who had confidence, not only in themselves, but in our team as well. We wanted our 4th to be as much to be as much fun to play with as Evan was. Points was 3rd most important and the sole reason we considered it was because of seeding purposes. Ideally, we wanted someone with at least 400 points, 300 of which were “new” points. This really cut our player pool. And to tie it all together was the team chemistry. I’m not as firm of a believer in this aspect of Halo as others are. I feel that with enough practice you can build on your teamwork and get a better feel for how your teammates play. Another thing we really looked at was the player’s location. We wanted someone that lived relatively close to us so we could LAN more easily and more frequently.
The Final Cut
After a week of playing, we narrowed down the list to Moniz, Nocturnal Kernal, and Brake. We knew there was a good chance that Moniz would be on North of 49 so it was basically between Brake and NK. Both of them are obviously very skilled but, there are significant differences in the way they play. Brake is a more passive player whereas, NK is more aggressive. We ran a lot with Brake and did well but, his playstyle was very different from Evan’s and this would lead us to make more adjustments in our own gameplay. When we ran with Kenry (NK), it was like playing with Evan again. Both Evan and Kenry play a very unorthodox style of Halo in that they rely mainly on their individual skill and are often found on the opposite sides of the map as the rest of their team lol. We also liked Kenry’s attitude and felt that he brought the most to the team in terms of his confidence, location, and general understanding of the game.
Preparation for Dallas
Kenry gets back from vacation on Sunday and we will begin our practice then. We plan to play a lot over XBOX Live and are looking to get 2 LANs in before the event. 1 in early August, and 1 during the week leading up to the event.
I’ve seen a lot of Virtuosity love on the forums and I want everyone to know that we appreciate it and we will not disappoint in Dallas.
TL:DR
- April 9, 2009 - 5:54pm
If you haven’t done so yet and have the time, please read my previous blogs to find out how Virtuosity came about.
A month before Meadowlands we decided to part ways with our BFF Krew and look for a potential 4th. It was a tough decision but, we felt it would be better for both of us to find teams that fit our playstyle better. Krew is the type of player that is passive, in that he waits for an opportunity to present itself before pushing. The three of us however like to hold forward, jump, nade, and melee at once to try and win games (Gated more so than the rest). We were limited in options of players with such a playstyle so we decided on Moe ;).
This was before the Pro-AM Showcase and not many people knew who Moe was. We had scrimmed Moe’s old team a few times before picking him up and decided to let him show us and the community what he was capable of. The two problems with Moe were that he had 2 points and we had never seen him play on LAN. We decided that points weren’t really an issue because every bracket would be equally hard and building a team based on points this event wouldn’t work. We watched a few of his gameplays to guage his decision making and possibly get a better feel for how he’d do on LAN.
Needless to say, Moe was a beast and a perfect fit. He was a very aggressive player and we used this aggressiveness to base our pushes around him. After a week of playing with him, Evan (Gated) and our coach Jeff (Klean Killer), came over to my house and we finalized our decision to pick him up. This was a controversial pickup because numerous people told me that he was bad, he is only good on XBL, he wouldn’t show up at Meadows, etc. He had a lot of haters and hopefully he shut most of them up after Meadows. With a month left before Meadowlands, we wanted to try and get in a LAN with North of 49 during my Spring Break. Unfortunately, conflicting schedules led to our LAN being cancelled and we were stuck with practicing over XBL.
Practicing over XBL is a pain for everyone, but it was especially worse for us. Due to our varying schedules we could only practice Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm (Longer on Sunday). Now, we’d find ourselves online by 8:15, play a few playlist games to warm up and before we knew it it’d be 9:00 pm. Every time we tried to get a t04, we’d be left waiting 20+ minutes for a team and would only have time for 2, maybe 3 games before my brother had to sign off. Because of this, we decided to only play playlist on the weekdays and stick to t04s on Sunday when we were on for a little longer. I can tell you first hand that practicing for an event primarily using playlist is a horrible way to practice for 3 main reasons.
1) The gametypes were version 5 and 3/11 times we played a gametype that didn’t matter. 2) It gives you a false sense of confidence. We won around 80 games in a row going in as a team (not counting games where we lagged out, kids cheated, or Moe went afk mid-game lol). 3) The connection and the players are horrible. Most of the time it’s 4 random kids in a party and not a team, so the teamwork is non-existent. We were ecstatic when we got matched up against random pros because we knew at least the skill would be present, even if they weren’t always trying.
On Sundays, we focused on the v6 AM Gametypes and set a goal to make it out as one of the top 4 teams in open and win our placement. This would leave us with 3 practiced gametypes in our series for top 16 and we’d hopefully win those and achieve a top 16 placing. This was a terrible decision and we should’ve practiced the pro gametypes. Our only exposure, except for an 11 game series against Source, to pro gametypes was in the playlist.
Road Trip
Evan, my brother (Painless), Jeff, and my dad left my house around 6:00 am Friday morning and we were scheduled to arrive at the Venue by 12:30 pm. My dad decided to bring 2 GPSes (?) and I accidently picked the wrong one to follow. The one I picked hadn’t been calibrated in 2 months and it took us off course. We lost 2 hours because of that and finally arrived in the city of Secaucus at 2:30 pm. I called Moe and found out that the hotel we were staying at was called the “Homestead” so we pulled into the first Homestead we saw. It turns out that there were two in the City and we were at the wrong one. After an hour of more inner city driving on terrible roads, we found ourselves at the right Hotel about to meet our teammate for the first time.
Moe, after meeting us , spent the first hour making fun of Evan’s green pants lol. We then met up with Envy (Krew, Element, Rowan, Sheek) who were staying at the same hotel. Envy had 4 viewsonics in their room so we decided to warm up against them. We played the AM Gametypes and won 5-1 (Lost Guardian Slayer 48-50) After trying every splitscreen pairing that series we decided on Moe/Jetty and Painless/Gated.
Round 1: BYE
Round 2: Forgot team name. Pit Slayer: 50-48 (W) Narrows Flag: 3-0 (W)We left for the venue at 5:30 and watched the pros until our round 2 match (bye in round 1). Turtle Beach hooked us up with 4 TB HPXs for the event and I must say; once they’re set up properly the headphones are amazing. Unfortunately, we didn’t know how to properly set it up for our round 2 match and when game 1 started the in game sounds were way too loud and our callouts couldn’t be heard. We were down 46-40 when Moe the new rockets and pushes into their green. He clutches it by getting two consecutive triples and we end up winning 50-48. Nervous that the first game was so close, we made sure the headphones worked properly before game 2 and easily won it. We were done for the night so we headed back to Envy’s room to LAN some more and prepare for the “main” day of competition. We won the first 3 games and then Envy decided that they didn’t want to play anymore and were going to sleep.
Round 3: High Society Construct Slayer: 50-44 (W) Pit Flag: 3-1 (W)Back in our own room, we looked online and saw that we were playing High Society in round 3. We were familiar with High Society from XBL and knew that they wouldn’t be easy. But, the gametypes for this round were 2 of our strongest and we were confident we could beat them. After winning this round, I had a feeling they would make it out through losers but, no way did I imagine them getting top 12. Congratz to them and hopefully they can place just as well at Columbus.
Round 4: Active Rush Guardian Slayer: 50-31 (W) Narrows Flag: 3-1 (W)Our round 4 match was against the AM Juggernaut, Active Rush. I’ve played with Icevayne a few times online and knew that he was a really good player. Guardian slayer is another one of our better gametypes and our goal was to start strong and ride that momentum to win Narrows flag, a much weaker gametype. We did not want a Pit Slayer because of how close our Round 2 Pit Slayer was. And start strong we did, Painless and Moe each went around +10 and we easily won game 1. Game 2 was a little more difficult, we got outslayed but when we did kill them, we made it count and capped the flag.
Round 5: Type Z Animosity Narrows Slayer: 40-50 (L) Pit Flag: 3-0 (W) Guardian Slayer: 50-46 (W)Round 5 was our hardest match in the Open Bracket but, we went in with the confidence that we’d win. I don’t even know what happened game 1. It felt like every time we killed them and pushed top mid there’d be a guy behind us. If I didn’t know anything better, I would’ve thought they spawned in our base lol. We lost Narrows slayer, but won Pit flag in a fairly quick 3-0 giving us momentum. Going in to game 3 I thought we’d win by a big margin but this wasn’t the case. The lead exchanged frequently until Painless got camo + dual maulers and broke their snipe setup by himself. We had a 47-46 lead and snipe tower control because of this. They then attempted a weak push and we ended up winning 50-46. Good games guys, I hope you guys keep practicing and do better at Columbus.
Round 6: pT Envy Pit Slayer: 50-45 (W) Narrows Flag: 3-0 (W)I was ecstatic when I found out that we’d be playing Krew’s team for top 24. Our LAN from the previous day gave us a lot of confidence and we had a mental advantage over them but, we were sure not to take them lightly. This was my best series of the event and it felt like I wasn’t missing. I dropped 20 kills (+11) the Pit Slayer in the win. Narrows flag is their better flag but things just fell our way and we took game 2 as well. I expect big things from Envy at Columbus.
Placement 3: The Incredibles Ons Flag: 4-2 (W) Construct Slayer: 50-45 (W) Guardian Ball: 154-88 (W)Now we weren’t sure who we’d play for our placement but, at that point it felt like we couldn’t lose. I was ecstatic to find out that we’d play the Incredibles, partly because they were the weakest of the pro teams but, mainly because I’d be playing against my gaming idol Ogre 1. I watched Ogre 1’s 41-0 vid before I even owned an XBOX lol and he was one of my favorite players in Halo 2. We thought we had a 3 hour break before this match so we went to eat Pizza at our sponsor’s room. Just as we finished eating I got a text from Moe saying we were playing at Station 5 RIGHT NOW. So we ran back to the venue and started playing our first pro gametypes. Our gameplay was sloppy from the start, we ended up getting outslayed on Ons Flag but, won game 1 (Ogre 1 went +18). Game 2 was Construct Slayer, GaTeD and Painless went off this game going a combined +14. We won game 3, Guardian Ball, as well. Outside of Ogre 1, Mioff impressed me most with his gameplay. He is sick and hopefully he can find a solid team for Columbus if the Incredibles break up. I wanted to get Ogre 1’s autograph after the series but, my team felt it would be inconsiderate after beating them so…I guess I’ll have to get one at Columbus before they start playing. Quote of the series: Gated, after out BRing Ogre 1, yelled “AND THAT’s WHY I’M AN OGRE 2 FAN!” lol.
Before our match for top 16, we had a 3 hour break since the rest of the LB Rounds had to be completed. MLG seriously needs to change the way they run this stage of the tournament because we found it impossible to find a station to warm up on. Maybe they can reserve 2 stations so the teams that are left and aren’t playing can warm up. Every station either had LB games going on or kids were running random 4s without the loser getting up. We finally managed to get in 3 games at Sep 7’s station but, we were far from warmed up.
Pro LB Round 4: UprisingPit Flag: 1-2 (L) Narrows Slayer: 50-45 (W) Guardian Ball: 119-164 (L) Ons Flag: 2-5 (L)
I didn’t know what to expect when we played Uprising. I, like a lot of people, knew nothing about their team or playstyle. Going into game 1 we were confident we would win because Pit flag is arguably our best gametype. We were wrong; they had control of our green the entire game and got every OV/rockets. We were demoralized that we lost our best gametype and attempted to brush it off for game 2 Narrows Slayer. Narrows was close the entire game with the lead switching until we got control of top mid and got the final few kills. Now that it was 1-1 we were a bit more relieved but we’d have to take a pro gametype to stay alive. We played the worst game of Guardian Ball imaginable. The score looks a lot closer than it really was, we got out slayed horribly and they played it well. Game 4 was our 2nd worst gametype (Lockdown Ball is our worst) and it was never close. We got out slayed horribly once again and lost the series 1-3 and finished top 20. It’s depressing that we couldn’t win that Pit flag because game 5 was Construct Slayer, a gametype we were good at. Congratulations to Uprising, they deserved their placing. They have amazing teamwork and it’s a shame they aren’t sticking together.Look to the Future
We finished 18th at Meadowlands but, there is a ton of room for improvement and we now have a better feel for what we need to work on. Needless to say, we are sticking together and can’t wait for Columbus. We‘re trying to get 2 LANs set up during the month of May. Hopefully they’ll be against top 8 teams...hey Instinct got 2nd solely based on their LAN against Uprising ;). Regardless, we will definitely be lanning before Columbus, it’s just undecided as to who. Our practice regiment for the upcoming event will be completely different from our Meadowlands one. This means no more playlist as a primary form of practice. Now that it is almost summer vacation, we're all going to be playing a lot more, especially Evan (Gated). I don't think the gaming world is ready for a practiced Gated, Krew knows what I’m talking about lol. Good luck to everyone attending Columbus and I will see you there!Shoutout to everyone that I met at Meadows, you know who you are so there’s no point in recounting all of you here. I didn’t meet as many people as I wanted to because we’d always be prepping for our next series but, come Columbus, I’ll go out of my way to meet the people behind the gamertags that I am so familiar with on XBL.
A special thanks to our sponsors, Pure Talent Gaming, Turtle Beach, and Evil Controllers. They were a HUGE help and ensured that we were as prepared as we could be during the Event.login or register to post comments

Virtuosity, the Beginning to the
Present.
- December 22, 2008 - 11:13pm
Well it all started in 06 when Gated, Painless (my bro) and I decided to team since we would always clean up our locals and we thought we were pretty good. We really wanted to attend an MLG Event but couldn't due to many reasons. So it was decided that we would attend the first Halo 3 event and go from there. Unfortunately, we only had three people on our team and decided to pick up a friend of mine, Kcirp who had never played Halo 2. We were doing pretty good in the gamebattles fall ladder with Kcirp even though he struggled to get the feel for Halo. Around December of 2007, Kcirp quit to play WoW and this left us needing a 4th. We wanted to keep our team local and so we picked up Krew and did well. A month later Krew quit Halo because he just turned 18 and kept hitting the Indian Casinos and Halo bored him. Once again we were left needing a 4th but exhausted all the good locals (or so we thought, didn't know Robbie B at the time ;D).
About now we were approached by Sep 7 to team and after watching his gameplays, we were impressed and picked him up. For some reason we were amazing with Sep and were beating a ton of teams that are now top 16 and top 8. We started the Gamebattles seeding ladder and were like 34-4 when we lost to Type Z really badly like 50-36 and 250-140. After that game, I decided to go watch Prison Break with my friends at my dorm and Sep leaves the team because I wasn't as dedicated to the game as I used to be. It was my freshmen year at college and I was enjoying myself a ton so I decided to quit Halo. I quit for a month and then had a Medical Emergency and was forced to withdraw from college. Now it was March and Meadowlands was a month away and I decided to make my return to Halo. Of course, I teamed back up with Gated and Painless and needed a 4th. We picked up Sep again but, we weren't playing like we used to. Part of the reason was me because a month off playing CoD 4 affected my Halo Gameplay more than I could have imagined. We were still beating the "newer" good teams with me going like -10+ every game. A week before Meadows, my dad told me that he didn't want me going to Meadows because of my medical situation. I was pissed, I wanted to go and I probably could have but, I was still playing like shit and I didn't want to hurt their chances of placing well so I left the team. They picked up Krew, who was back at Halo and got a lot better than he used to be, and went to Meadows with 4 days of practice.
Here comes the fun part, Virtuosity goes to Meadows plays Instinct 3rd round open bracket and has close games (250-150ish, 50-45ish). They easily advance through the rest of the loser's bracket and make pro bracket. They play Classic Round 1 and lose 3-0. They then play Ambush round 1 losers and lose 3-0. This is by far the best bracket I have seen at a tournament, if anyone has had a harder bracket, please post it. So then Meadows is over and they take 27th which they were happy with considering who they played. I'm back on the team instead of Sep because we wanted to keep the team local and then...we just disappear off the gaming map. None of us attend any events we play a little here and there until june. In June, I go to India for two months and during this time Gated and Krew play a ton of the playlist and get really good. My bro and I come back the end of August only to realize we're really bad again and a lot of kids we were better than were now better than us. Naturally, we team back with Krew and Gated and decide we want to go to Dallas so I could get the "first event" thing out of the way.
Going in to Dallas we knew we were going to do poorly but wanted to go just to have fun. So we arrive in Dallas on thursday on the same flight as Fat Bubb who I knew from online so it was cool seeing him in real life. We walked around the resort for the rest of the night then went to bed. Friday came, we got a bye for round 1 because of the points my teammates had. We easily won round 2 and had a 1 hour break so we left the venue. My brother goes to our room and me, krew, and gated walk around the venue. Krew and Gated go to the bathroom and I wait outside. While waiting, I take off my glasses to clean them and BAM! I break them. I have really weak eyes and I can barely see without my glasses so when krew comes out I tell him what happened. He thinks my glasses are some special glasses that you can take apart (wtf?) and hes convinced that I'm joking. After I tell him that this is serious, we all freak out. We go to back to the venue find the vod booth and ask them for tape. I tape my glasses back together and after doing that I am left with one eye that I can use, better than none i guess. So we play round 3, win and go back to the room. I was so pissed because I looked like the biggest nerd ever with tape over my glasses and on top of that I was going to have to play the rest of the weekend with one eye.
We find out through the forums that we're playing AbR 4th round. I knew Vile and Robbie B already from online and since we used to beat their old teams with Sep I thought that we could beat them, boy was I wrong. We go Saturday and then warm up for a bit and play Robbie B's team. We lose Construct Slayer by 8 kills and then it goes to Pit King. The game comes down to the last 20 seconds of the game and they end up winning by 10 secs or so. Dejected, we prepare for loser's bracket. We play Gunshy's team in loser's round 5. We scrimmed them online and they would shit on us every time. I knew part of the reason was the host and this proved to be true on lan. We easily win game 1 50-30ish. Game 2 we almost pull off an epic comeback after being down 245-210 but, end up losing by 3 seconds. Game 3 was pit slayer and we start off strong and finish strong beating them 50-30ish. Fast forward to round 8 we play point of vanity and 2-0 them and I can honestly say that was the only series that I played well. I went +12 on Slayer Guardian. So now we're 25-31 and to make top 24 we have to play AbR again. They're up 2-0 in the series so it would be hard for us to come back. We win the first game Narrows Slayer by 3 or so kills. Then it goes to Pit Slayer, this was the pivotal game and I feel that if we had won this we would've done so much better. We take over their green and the score is 46-41 for us. Unfortunately, we died one at a time instead of all at once so we kept trying to hold the green but it was unsuccessful. The score is 49-49 and rockets just spawned. Fuzzy (?) gets rockets and pushes our green. I'm empty side and shoot his back, Gate is training and shoots him but we just couldn't kill him in time and Gate dies to him. The 4th game is Construct Hill and it comes down to last hill. We're down by 10 seconds with 30 seconds left in the game. We get 3 down and Robbie B is the last one alive and he's one shot coming up closed. I don't hear the callout and miss a melee on him and he kills me. He then kills Krew who is in the Hill for the clutch double and they win the game. If there was one team that I would have been happy losing to it was probably Robbie B's because he's a cool kid and it was good to see him do well. Oh btw, I end up going -14 that hill game with second least time. I went like a combined negative 25 in the 4 games against AbR.
Dallas was over and I was really pissed at how poorly I played (it's kind of hard with one eye). Although we went mainly for fun we still ended up getting 25-31 but that isn't good enough for me. My play at Dallas sparked something in me and I'm taking this game more seriously than I ever have. We decided that we're going to stick together which isn't a surprise since me gate, and painless have teamed together for 3 years. Now that there's three and a half months left until Meadows we need practice. So if any good team wants to scrim please send an f/r to J3TTY. I have 2k upload and 12k download so my host is playable. Wish us luck and I guarantee we won't disappoint at Meadows. Also guys, team with people you consider friends it makes it that much better and you don't have to worry about getting dropped if you play poorly one or two games. P.S.
