Just got this sick new controller from mycustomxbox.com! Thought I'd show everyone how sick it is and the good work that Scogre does painting these at mycustomxbox. Design was done by Odessa.
Also it's got the no-slow fix to it, so its amazing to play with! Also has red and white LED lights around the Guide button :)

Hey what’s up everyone. I’ve never written a blog before so bare with me.I’ll just start this one off with the offseason, what’s happened since then, and what I’ve been up to until now.
Offseason
So, after two disappointing series at Dallas last year, to both Antigravity and Legendz (both being down 2-0 in the series and losing 3-2 overall), we thought our team was going to stick together for the opener. But with every single other team breaking up, they was bound to be better offers coming around. Me and PowWow got an offer from Severince and Tizoxic to team with them. I didn’t really want to leave Ace, but I figured that I really needed a change this season . So we took the offer and formed Heaven and Earth. Well, that team lasted until the WinterLAN at Totz house. I don’t really know what happened there, I thought we were going to be sick, but oh well. Speaking of the WinterLAN, that was a blast! If any one ever gets the chance to go to the Totz house, do it! its an amazing place full of amazing people. After that, I really wasn’t sure what I was going to do, until I got an offer to team with Ambush which consisted of Nexus, Tizoxic, and Gun Shot for Meadowlands.
Meadowlands
We practiced as a team a lot together for Meadowlands. We didn’t get a LAN in, which i think hurt us a little bit, but we were going into the event with the 7th seed and pretty confident. First round we played Darkest Hour which consisted of Frosty, Twylight, AoW, and CallMeGod. We went into this series very confident, and got destroyed the first game, but came back and won the next 3 to win the series 3-1. Next series was Instinct. Every game in this series was very close. Game 1 we lost like 3-2 Pit CTF. Game 2 we won like 50-47, lost Guardian Ball by like 8 seconds, and 1 cap in OT on Onslaught Flag. So we didn’t really think of it as a bad loss. Skipping to Sunday of the event, we played an on FIRE Heaven and Earth for Top 8. Lets just say after game 1, the next 3 games didn’t go too well. We got destroyed pretty bad. So, I was the scapegoat for this tournament, since I was the one who hasn’t placed top 8 yet. But everyone told me from VoD, that i wasn’t the reason.
Columbus
I get dropped from Ambush after Meadowlands and I didn’t know what I was going to do. I was in my senior year of high school, had baseball to worry about, graduation was coming up, and i just didn’t want to play anymore. But I decided to of course to play. I was waiting for all the team changes to go through, and i thought I found a sick team in Heaven and Earth to be on, which would have been Perplexity, KillerDrew, PoWwoW, and myself. But Perplexity wasn’t feeling it and wanted to stick with Hokum. I understood, so I was off to looking again. I found a team to be on, but we were going to have to play through AM. It was MudVayne, Elumnite, Arkanum, and myself. I was actually really excited to play with this team, Mudvayne said he was going to be playing alot, and we were going to start practicing a lot soon. But 3 days before the Pro Roster Lock, I got a missed call during one of my baseball games from Soldi3r asking me if I wanted to team with him, Legend, and Best Man because Defy had left for Carbon. I of course said yes and was happier than ever! So were teaming, and we have a 4 team LAN at Totz house with Str8 Rippin, Status Quo, and Believe the Hype and started off shaky on Friday, but Saturday and Sunday of the LAN we were playing as a team better, communicating better, and just playing really well. We knew that we were going to do really well at the tournament. So 2 weeks later is MLG Columbus. We drew to play Status Quo in the first round, which at our LAN with them, they beat us 6-5 in one series and we beat them 9-2 in another series, so we were really confident going into this series. Well we beat them in a couple close games 3-1, were all playing really well, and are set to play tD round 2 on Saturday. So Saturday comes by, and I don’t know what it was, I don’t really think we were completely warmed up, but tD is a sick team, and we lost that series 3-1. I wasn’t playing too hot this series, but I didn’t let it get me down. On to Sunday, we play Pistol and the Jets for top, 3-0. Yay! My first Top 8! And I find out we play SQ for Top 6. We already were up in the series 3-1, so we were really confident once again, and beat them 6-3 overall. Top 6!! Now was Instinct. I knew my team now was better than Ambush at Meadowlands, and just barely losing to Instinct with that team, I knew we could beat them. Our main objective was just to shut down Mason. And we did just that. We lost game 1, but the next 2 games we completely destroyed and game 4 was an amazing game, I think I went +11, you guys should watch it, sick game. Now that series got me so wore out, I had nothing left for the FB series for top 3. We did win game 1 in like 4 minutes, but after that, us as a team had nothing left. So we lost that series 3-1. Overall, VERY happy about this tournament!
Columbus to Now
So after Columbus, we just took it pretty easy for a month or so, and just about a couple weeks ago started to game as a team again. I personally haven’t played but maybe an hour a night since Columbus, but I’m starting to hit it kinda hard again. I got a girlfriend now, she’s amazingly beautiful and an amazing person, and doesn’t care if I play Halo! Umm I’ve just been chillin around with friends, with my girlfriend, and I’ve had to go to summer classes to get into college at Indiana University-Purdue University of Indianapolis (IUPUI). They’re every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8-12:30 for a month, so not THAT bad. I start the Fall Semester 2 days before Dallas, so I’ll be missing classes that Friday and Monday, which sucks, but oh well. Like I’ve said, we just started practicing as a team again, we have a LAN with Carbon lined up at Walsh's house from August 19-23. Im sure everyone has seen Ace, Ghoster, and I’s montage titled “3”. If not, be sure to check it out! Its on youtube, Halo3Forum, or in the GameRoom!! Well, I think I’m done now.
Ill see everyone at Dallas, I’m REALLY excited for it! Look out for us again!
