Alright well I haven't blogged in a while so I decided to say I left PainX on good terms after dallas and joined the team Active Rush going into Chicago. Chicago was a great event for many reasons, Active Rush went in as the underdogs against H2K, RoC, and Xit Woundz and we were able to come out on top! So let me give you a rundown of what happened because I typed a longgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg blog that was about 9-10 paragraphs long that I tryed submitting only to realize I wasn't logged in and for it to say "you are unable to submit this," and for all of it to GET DELETED OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. IT WENT THROUGH EVERY DETAILLLLLLLLLLLLLL TOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

 

anyways we played H2K WB round 1 and 3-0'd them, going in as underdogs as MLG had already posted the poll, "Who's going to win H2K or FB!!!" So, I found that pretty funny. So we go into WB Round 2 to play against Final Boss and for many reasons I wanted to take a game off of them REALLY bad. One reason was It was finally my chance to play against my sort of "role model" in the halo world in Dave "Clawshy" Walsh. The guy I got to play side to side in Pro FFA at Anaheim 06, and i thought it was pretty cool that he played without his shoes on and clawed like I did! Very nerdy I know, but I thought it was cool at the time you know haha. So to finally play AGAINST him and the final boss dynasty, it was a great feeling. To me this was the same as playing hockey side by side with Mario Lemiux, respectively my role model in hockey my whole life ya know? Walsh is a halo player I respect because he does a lot of objective and isn't afraid of doing the dirty work that needs to be done in order for his team to win games So I was pretty stoked to be finally playing against him. Enough of my rant I guess! So we play Final Boss in Game 1 Warlock CTF to find out we were outslaying them, but they were still capping flags with 2-3 people dead? It was really weird! Than we played them in Lockout TS to lose 50-21 getting destroyed by the Walsh S1 and Strongside Blue 2 combo. It was impossible to kill them!!!!!!!! anyways we play midship ball to lose by 2 minutes or so, but being able to outslay them. It felt like I was playing a different final boss I had ever seen play on VoD. Like they were playing the objective perfectly instead of slaying everything in sight than only walsh doing objective ya know? anyways we got sent to the LB and played RoC for top 16, 3-0'd them than went to bed.

 

We woke up, showered warmed up with type-z than got called to mainstage against Xit Woundz. Now I have a lot of respect for xit woundz so a lot of my trash talk wasn't meant purposely. I actually think omega is an amazing supportive player, but just didn't fit that team to begin with. Anyways we won games 1 & 2 of Midship CTF and Midship TS than lost game 3 with me and killer N doing similar stats like 15-29 with 1:59 of ball time each or something. Than hearing bonfire say "Hey Dynomike nice kills!"

Now you should know that in the 06 season I talked a lot of trash on lan, I mean a LOT to any team we played. Like it got to the point where I was friends with chaosdaninja for a while then played his team at anaheim 06 and after the event he removed me/blocked me and never talked to me again. So.......yeaaaaaa anyways I stopped talking trash on lan after Charlotte where I got my team a Technical against Check your pulse and lost host all games against Dookie blasters! So ever since then I haven't trash talked since. But hearing those words from bonfire fueled me to talk so much trash, I regret saying all the stuff I said but it seemed to work as bonfire I think did really bad game 4 sanctuary CTF!

Anyways, we went on to play Carbon afterwards for top 8 and I REALLY wanted to win, I knew if we won we'd have a good chance at top 4. As we would have to play Versus for top 6 and 5K for top 4 and it would of been very intimidating to play a team who had just beaten Carbon. Anyways we gave up a fight in middy bomb which I recommend you should watch on our VoD's, but ended up losing. Then we played sanctuary Ts and were up by about 40-30 and ended up losing the game :-(. very demoralizing. Than we got owned pretty bad on lockout ball! Anyways we beat t2p and icon in consolation to get 9th.

 

Had fun meeting everyone I did at chicago, won't give you guys all shout-outs because you know who you are! But i definitely have to give love to Mini-Naded lancer, P2 Slobby McSlob Slob Gexny, the nicest guy in the world ICEVAYNE! and the best coach I've ever had in Adam a.k.a VxIxRxGxIxN. We'll be practicing a lot coming up to orlando, and hopefully the brackets give us a lucky break this time!

Well, It's Orlando and i've never felt better than any team. In chicago we placed 9th only losing to FB in the WB and CbN in the LB. Hopefully the brackets will finally turn in our way and we can have an amazing showing at Orlando! Lancer is amazing Icevayne is amazing gexny is a drug addict CAN"T WAIT FOR ORLANDO!! Actively Rushing to Top 6 ;)

I know let's start off with this... Team PainX is team that's always looked down upon not being able to go to events. Always being pushed down saying they are XBL All-stars, although charlotte was hardly the case! My team consisted of Wonka, a good time friend of mine who i've been teaming with since orlando. I relate to Wonka because all of our previous MLG Tournaments we have taken locals or last minute teams and have yet to show our potential with a full team we actually love playing with. I have to thank wonka for getting me back into halo, after calling me and after a 2 hour phone call, i agreed to come back to win some money @ MLG's This year. Factor, easily one of the kids i hated most back in the old days whenever I played him, this kid would literally abuse his host so hard and talk so much trash! Don't know why, he just always did, who would of thunk before the 07 season we'd be teaming eh? Censored a.k.a Fak3 Tittys, another player i hated who i felt was an XBL All-star before Orlando 06'. I always remebered thinking.."Why is Tupac on this kid's D so hard? He's so bad!!" after his early Chicago 06 am ffa and pro 4v4 exit haha! Now i'm teaming with him after realizing why pac was on his D, because Censored is truly disgusting... His Jaw dropping skill and claw is easily enough to turn around a crowd of fat slobs booing us into cheers of desperation and excitement wanting their underdog team to win!

Ok enough about me talking about my team let's talk about Charlotte. My team had high expectations going to Charlotte, we're all very confident in our team(People may see that as arrogance, but going into a series confident is much better going into a series nervous or pessimistic.) Our goal at charlotte was Top 12/Top 8. We decided that if we did not get that placing we were going to quit halo, under any circumstance even if we lost to CbN by 1 kill on game 5 or something. So weeks leading up to charlotte we find ourselves beating top teams on our host and destronzel popping good teams on their host, yet still being called XBL All-Stars(which was a shocker to me since i hadn't been called one since before anaheim 06 in ffa!) I felt our team was very lan-oriented, i really worked my ass off to make up these strats/show them to my teammates and i felt they were ALL very lan-oriented(They had yet to fail me at orlando, so what they hey!) Anyways, weeks leading up to charlotte I had become great friends with all my teammates....Literally, i know every pro player says this, but i truly think our team's friendship is greater than anyone else's on the circuit, we really love talking/playing halo with each other. I had a great feeling about this team....Only problem is every event i've been to when i've had a full team it has been screwed over last minute, such as last minute flight cancellations, last minute teammates not going, last minute teammates fist fighting the night before am 4v4. I just seem to have terrible luck with these things you know?

So you can ask factor how surreal the experience was to meet him and finally talk to wonka and censored again. We arrive at the venue long ass line, i cut in front of everyone find 5K and get a spot close to the front( As always... Thanks MLG Staff and callmegod! :-) ) Anyways, ffa is about to begin and i get knocked out 2nd round and wonka gets knocked out 4th round...We're supposed to be known as the most consistent ffa players on our team, but i'm not gonna lie i played like i was better than the world that i didn't need to try, so that hurt me in the long run. Jeremy(Censored) and Chris(Factor) ended up destroying am ffa and making pro ffa! I was very proud but i had the feeling in me that i needed to step up, because on live my role is very very shitty. I get the worst stats etc. I do most of the dirty work as a supportive/objective player, only times i have an amazing ratio is if i have to slay or it's a TS that's about it. But i've had a feeling for a while that factor might of thought I was bad, even though he didn't I just hate feeling like i'm the worst one on the team ya know? All i know was that was about to change!

Am 4v4, we wake up early stoked as heck we run into wonka's room and tackle him / tea bag him, with procto pirate recording(Didn't know he was!) and wonka does his usually lazy sloth novice voice "uhhhh....GOD i'm trying to sleep!" we all laugh and get ready. We sleep a lot and eat a very healthy breakfast and go down to the venue to destroy our teams. Little did i know am 4v4 would lasttttttttt foreverrrrrrrrrr. So anyways boring matches until we play CyP round 4 WB, we'll skip to then! So much shit talking was going on in this series from previous grudges against CyP from online scrims. I won't mention any insults being said because they were very unprofessional and most of them me and Jeremy regret saying. Anyways i get a technical for my team after we win because i stand up and say "This isn't XBL you stupid fucking XBL all-stars!" something to that extent, so we lost host to Dookie Blasters(Who had just got done beating VvV), but we didn't care it was full screen we know we weren't going to lose! so we play dookie, 2-0 them, pretty quickly to advance on. By the way everyone on dookie blasters are so chill, easily one of the funnest kids to hang out with during the am 4v4's congrats on ya'll's placing by the way! Anyways On to pro 4v4, i felt like i had been performing up to par, but i keep telling Chris on lan against good people i'm amazing don't worry about it. So i hear our station being called and i hear "Vanity vs PainX," i look over to see the expressions of my teammates and i have yet to ever see a gleeful face from jeremy and chris, their smiles could of easily brighten up the venue if it were all dark, desolate, pitch black. The reason for this was we had played them on XBL (Our host ) 5-0'd them middy ctf and they booted us from their party calling us XBL All-stars....So to get back at them we decided to get the gameplay at a Halo Forum (Which will not be named!) and it was seen by thousands of people and a huge flame war occured between vanity and this Halo Forum! anyways so we begin the series middy bomb, (Easily our worst gametype don't think we ever practiced it much! we were so bad at it!) and we get 2-0'd with ease with smoltz/on-host going huge as usual. I tell my teammates guys... we suck at middy bomb but if we're going to do anything in pro 4v4 take every series one game at a time! No doubts from here on out! so we make a comeback and end up taking it to game 5 Lockout TS, the score is 47-47 as we're making a comeback and there is easily a huge crowd around us, looking at all of our screen's we're off-host this game 5 and we're so pumped. So my teammates tell me, dyno you have to rush, so i end up rushing top mid getting cover from BR 3, with shotty(at this point jeremy outmelees a shotgun kid under glass? Br1? don't remeber and the crowd goes crazy as it's 48-47) I realizing this right when i jump over shortcut say "Fudge it! let's just destronzel pop em!" i catch nitrouss off guard shotty him while he has snipe to put the score at 49-47, as this is all occuring fossik is shooting me in the body/face and i was able to grab nitrouss' sniper, jump in the air and no scope fossik to win the game, quite possibly the most exhilarating moment i've ever had playing halo. Crowd goes wild, i go up to shake their hands...(No one shook my hand..) and we got ready for our next Pro 4v4 Series.

So we get called against Legendz, i look at my teammates and they all look so pumped, at this point i felt we could beat them in 5 games and it would be even tougher than our Vanity Series! So i just say "Guys let's fuck up legendz!" my team getss pumped and we get ready at our station.. First gametype warlock ctf..I tell my teammates..Please let me host i'm destroying on it, no one else argues so i host our warlock CTF game..I believe i've never hosted so much ever in my life we all went huge and ended up beating legendz 2-0 warlock ctf. Game 2 we end up losing 50-35 sanctuary TS...another one of our WORST gametypes ever! and we're down and i just tell my team... "Guys it's sanc ts, one game at a time, LET"S DO THIS!" so we start off lockout ball.....Literally i felt like we had control of the game in every aspect there was possible... we were literally up 3:00-:10 midway through the game and ended up winning 5:00-1:18 with the crowd going crazy over everything we were doing. Game 4 Middy CTF, easily our best gametype if we're not tired we end up 5-1'ing legendz finishing the series and getting ready to play str8 in WB Round 3 for guarenteed top 6!

So we start off getting called out in the back stations near agency and CbN, our team exchanges with Agency saying, we're both going to win and celebrate afterwards..mackeo and victory tell us that they always knew we were going to top 12 and i told them i always knew they were going to get top 3. Even though mackeo had corrected me saying "We're not top 3 right now, we about to playing Carbon!" So both of our serieses start..Needless to say i'm not the one to make excuses but factor had just lost his voice before our str8 series, so it was more work for me to screen look/call out for envy. Nonetheless this str8 was a REALLY good str8, they ended up 3-0'ing us, although i had the warlock ctf game of my life and we lost 4-3 :-(, than we lost 50-45 lockout TS, and by 18 seconds on middy ball! it was a good series, T2 was easily destroying us much more than i thought he would...Like literally he was pulling up like naded statitistics na mean? Anyways we go to sleep after being content with top 12, telling each other top 8, is oh so close boys, let's grab it and never turn back!

So we get at the venue early sunday morning waiting for the winner of NLR / Redemption, i keep telling Nathan(Wonka) that i'd rather play redemption as it seemed like they played much more individual than NLR, and we always play REALLY well against teams that challenge you know? anyways NLR ends up beating redemption so we have to play them in LB Round 4 for top 8... First Gametype middy bomb--We decide to host this, i dunno why but i regret it with all my heart now, because i felt truly...NLR sucks we'll rape them if we're host on this gametype, we went on to lose 2-0 on middy bomb..Next gametype lockout TS.. what a game we ended up winning lockout TS, and then playing middy ball and winning by 2-3 seconds on their host! it was a great feeling. I kept telling my teammates "LET"S FINISH THIS!" Sanctuary CTF game 4.. we were literally up 1-0 the whole game until they got two very well coordinated caps leaving us at 2-1. This is where the DynoWonka comebacks tend to occur. Just so you all aren't confused DynoWonka comebacks consist of outrageous comebacks on any team on any host on XBL or LAN. For some examples Orlando 06- Me, Wonka, RABAD3UX, 8 ball vs Xit Omega, Nitrous, Legendpimps, Talent Beaver TS, we were down 49-36 and ended up winning the game 50-49. PainX Vs 5K, we were down 46-32 lockout TS in an online tournament and ended up tieing 49-49 with the time to run out. Some small examples.. anyways there are 20 seconds left and i dunno how but we seemed to cap the 2nd flag to tie it right when the timer hit 15:00 remaining, making the crowd behind us go wild. Preceding afterwards Ray stands our carbine hosting us and NLR spawns us and caps on us :-( Sad end to sanc ctf to tie the series 2-2. Game 5 warlock TS, we've always felt we've been bad at this gametype i dunno why, just have. we were down 47-40 against NLR and end up tieing it 48-48 to lose 50-49, all because i jumped out thinking ray was bottom mid green no shield, while i was blue needles....You have no idea how much that kill haunts me to this day... :-( anyways congrats to NLR top 8!

so we go on to play consolation with factor still with no voice after our legendz series :-(! we're barely trying and we beat xit and lose to type-z, sorry to make it sound gay but we were all just depressed over our loss to NLR, nothing more to say about it.

ANYWAYS all in all we placed 10th pro 4v4, and i appreciate all our fans out there always believing in us, i'm glad we didn't let you down, but i promise at meadowlands something even more spectacular will happen and i'll make sure ya'll jump out of your seats! Thanks to my teammates for being the funniest/best kids to hang out with, spainard for just being spainiard, mackeo, vic, halogod for always knowing we'd do this good! and mason for....being mason? i dunnno but sorry if i missed ya, i know i missed about like 100 people, but you all know who you are so go ahead and show your presence make a comment! BTW Billy Carbonated Soda Collister, gran calc, ryu, puckett > every MLG STAFF in the VENUE! btw thanks for the mcchiken collister, i think that's the main reason why we beat legendz!

well i just recently went to a local tournament in Dubuque Iowa, where i teamed with Duff time, Smoke N( S P Q R), TheHansBecker. (who are all very underrated players) anyways and i had an awesome time, we didn't drop a game, only game we almost lost was to CPH on midship CTF, when we were down 4-2, but ended up coming back and winning. Anyways me and hans split 1st/2nd in the 1v1's and ffa's and we won the 4v4's and had a great time, but it also made me realize why i liked playing halo and that was for it's lan atmosphere. I just wish the aspect of finding a team was much easier and a lot less stressful, such as getting screwed over last second every event i've been to. Swear, but i don't see myself fixing my xbox anytime soon to get on live. Also want to say there are a lot of upcoming ffa players just watching some kids who are good at ffa in the local lan atmosphere, hopefully they just don't get nervous in the MLG atmosphere, like most do, because it's a lot different. I can see a lot of upcoming players that are going to break out in the 07 season, considering everyone's starting to catch up when it comes to smarts/mentality in ffa's. Considering mostly everyone has the individual skill to get top 32 am ffa or better.

All i have to say it's SO SICK, it's so professional looking keep up the good work Major League Gaming.

WELL, i can't wait to play some Halo 1 i've been waiting forever, hopefully i can get drewskie newbskie to come, haha.

school's back, which means parties every day of the weekend. I've put so much time into halo, and i regret most of it because i could never balance the my life and halo at the same time... past 3-4 weeks i've felt i've found a good balance.

Only thing i don't regret is meeting some of the people that actually made this game fun and worth while, ya'll know who you are and i appreciate ya'll making this halo experience a fun one while it lasted... I dunno now if i'm coming back for the 07 season... but seriously love ya'll.

Just don't lose track of who you are and please balance the two out, and don't end up like me, i've missed out on so many parties junior year just because of this game.. and i've finally gotten my life back into where it should be for my senior year. I don't blame anybody but myself for not being responsible to balance the two out.

Thanks for making this experience as fun as it was, Good luck to all of you who keep playing halo competitvely, You guys are MLG, and i definetly have a great amount respect for all of you. Good luck to all the cool staff members and judges that who i always talked to at events, your work and dedication to MLG will make it huge.

MLG, Thank you for everything i'm 100% sure if events weren't as fun as ya'll made it, i would of quit this game a long time ago.. Thank all of you who supported me and believed in my potential. I gotta stop writing i think i'm going to tear(i know it sounds *** as hell, but wow,) So EVERYONE KEEP ON DOING WHAT YOUR DOING

Well, i just got back from orlando a little bit ago, and let's just say we blew everyone's expectations out of the water...

FFA's- me and wonka both place top 24 am ffa, oh well. 8 ball gets to his station late for the top 256 game and HAS to split with shockwav3, i felt so bad for him when i saw him having to sit down in that last seat, i knew from there he was going to get destroyed by shockwav3. 8 ball and raba got top 256.

4v4's-WE blasted through am only losing warlock ctf throughout the Open Bracket, we really didn't have a challenge until we played Under the Influence the last round. Game 1- we were up by 12 kills midship TS and they come back to tie it so it's 49-49, i get clutch and kill talent from red 2 to blue 1, going 18-9-8. We play warlock CTF and get 5-0'd pretty bad, but it really doesn't matter because we didn't go over ANY strats at ALL. Beaver Creek TS Game 3 Tiebreaker, the score is 49-38, cameras in my face in this intense series my three teammates have control of blue and kill all 4 and i spawn red needles so it's 49-42, i grab the shotgun and run inside red, little by little it went up with my shotgunning in red and 8 ball's sniping. by 49-48 i saw 8 ball's screen where 3 people were running inside red to get the final kill, so i run out front door and i start getting shot by nitrousss he missed so many shots, than jumps off rocket ramp and gets 4 shotted by rabad3ux while i have no shield in creek, i look up and see overshield, i grab it the crowd goes wild, 8 ball snipes omega in the chest he runs inside red pistol, i jump up and clean him up. Game over 50-49 crowd goes wild. After the open 4v4's we went over warlock ctf, and played FBI Michigan for top 16....

Right here i hope i was being recorded because i was destroying the first game warlock ctf and midship TS... the first game we beat FBI michigan(warlock ctf) 3-1, and then we end up losing 50-40 midship TS, and wonka goes 4-16, when i'm pretty sure if we would of won that game we would of been taken to game 5 and played beaver creek TS our host and it would of been close. But didn't happen we got swept 3 straight after our warlock ctf win, which is pretty amazing considering after that FBI michigan went on to 3-0 NDH and 3-0 S1G, wowzers.

Rabad3ux was better than i expected and we got top 24 with no practice whatsoever, but i'm pretty sure if we would of had a 4th to practice with or if callmegod could of gone we would of placed much much better.

As of New york i need someone to pay for all of my hotel+entry and i'll definetly be able to go with you.

Well, callmegod(christian) can't go to orlando even when the sponsor was going to pay his WHOLE flight, christian's dad still wouldn't let him go to orlando, hard headed huh? .

Yea, well just yesterday afternoon I opened up a fortune cookie and it said "you will find pleasure by the seashore." haha, orlando i'm guessing? MLG events are sick and i'm so happy i'm able to go to orlando.


Well, i'm grounded from doing anything with my car for 2-3 months, or staying out past 10:00 P.M.... so in other words get ready because i'm going to be ****ing sick by orlando, because i'm actually going to start practicing FFA'S and scrimming with my team constantly before orlando.

Well, the whole situation was on wednesday or tuesday? of last week after leaving after hanging out with a bunch of friends, i drove home with 12-14 beers, yes, i know i'm stupid, but i'm fine nothing happened i didn't get in a crash, i got home at around 3-4 a.m called a bunch of girls i knew for some reason, (no idea why i just usually look at my outgoing call list to see who i called the previous night, when i get drunk) i don't even remeber the conversations, anyways at around 6-7 a.m i got up to puke in my bathtub, than i cleaned it up and took a shower..don't ask me why but i just did. Apparently, my mom heard me puking, but i didn't know of this after i showered i just plopped right on my bed, i woke up at around 2-3 p.m to only find my parents in my room asking me for my keys and telling me I wasn't going to orlando, which to me was a huge shock because not only did i tell my teammates that i was going to purchase my flight the next day, my parents told me they could not trust me going to orlando. So the last couple days ive been convincing them ever since telling them that "In my heart, i don't care what you have taken away, because all i know is i won't be getting something back that is more important than any material things, and that is your trust, and for that I am truly sorry.."*tear* pretty good huh? anyways i also told them that who drinks at a videogaming tournament, they believed that also, so i was in the clear they said they'd let me go to orlando and trust me again just as long as i don't do it again.

Only problem is i'm still grounded from my car for 2-3 months, oh well. Anyways just 15 MINUTES AGO I JUST PURCHASED MY FLIGHT TO ORLANDO, whoooo. See ya'll at orlando.

by the way i haven't updated my team situation in a while, but.... yea anyways i feel great about this team, i'm feeling the teamwork and chemistry, i know XBL scrims don't mean much but i feel like our Team shooting is amazing, off-host and its a great thing because with old Go Positive, i just didn't feel like i had any teamwork with the WHOLE team, i'd have teamwork with every individual on Go Positive, but they wouldn't have teamwork with anyone else... I have no idea why, just, it felt that way.

Summers coming to an end i have 3 more weeks, THe day i get back from orlando, monday morning, i need to go back to school so i'll be arriving at school 2-3 hours late... haha man, SENIOR YEAR is going to be off the hook.

MLG CHICAGO was off the hook, not only did i get to hang out with its rip its rip, and 8 ball for the whole week before MLG chicago, which was filled with UPs and DOWNS, but it was awesome. Anyways, MLG chicago was disappointing i'm not going to lie, my team brought down my expectations from what we did, but it doesn't matter i still had fun and that's what matters most of the time.

Well... let's start off with friday...

Friday

Well the am ffa started, and i saw everyone i knew from previous MLG's talked to them a bit, and a lot were saying "Think your gonna get top 8 am ffa, again? Chicago is gonna be harder!" i could care less like i said, a top 8 seed is all i was aiming for my team, Go Positive. Anyways, Drewskie gets knocked out 2nd round and is pretty disappointed for the whole tournament, RIP gets top 256(i knew it was bound to happen, he hates playing ffas! lol) and pretty much me and 8 ball were warming up on stations while waiting for our ffas. I abused my Pro ffa performance at anaheim, as much as i could..(warming up on stations while they were free) so me and 8 ball were ready to do very well. 8 ball went on to get an impressive top 64 am ffa, but i felt bad because getting top 64 makes you feel terrible, i mean one round before the LB! Oh well, anyways my ffas were a breeze up until Top 32 AM FFA, on mainstage(its on VoD go check it out) i was pretty much in 7th and 8th the whole game, and some how tie 2nd-3rd? in the last 1 minute and 30 seconds, i was so happy, i stood up and remeber shouting "THATS THE DYNO COME BACK RIGHT THERE, GET OFF ME." Anyways i was so excited waiting for my LAST WB Round game, if i were to get top 4 here, i would of repeated my anaheim performance in FFA, but... i let my arrogance get the best of me. By arrogance, i mean i went up to the mic before my Last WB Round Game and said "To all you haters who said anaheim was a fluke ya'll can suck my ****, what now *******." At least it was good getting it out at the time you know?
Anyways my Last WB Round game starts, and out of nowhere its like peter(foulacy) is destroying EVERYONE no joke, hes up by 15 kills in a matter of minutes in this ffa and everyones in shock... while everyones fighting for 2nd - 5th i choked..., i got 5th by 1 kill which was very disappointing because nickfat beat me by 1 kill, and like 15 deaths, not the fact that nickfat beat me by 1 kill, the fact that a rusher beat me is what made me pretty disappointed.

On to my LB Game which had mason, halogod v2, me, ramby, bigtimer, best man, and ??? i forget who else, but yea i ended up choking and losing in 5th again losing to ramby by 2 kills, because i choked on killing bigtimer on P1, and ramby cleaned us both up taking 2 kills up on me, and then mason ended the game.

The feeling i had in me was utter disappointment, you have no idea how it is to be at the venue, UNTIL THE VERY LAST MATCH and not make top 8 am ffa or even top 16 am ffa. I could of sworen it was like a movie.. i was just laying on the table where i got knocked out at while the janitors were the only people left in the venue, and i was just laying there, thinking what i could of done in certain situations, and how i let my team down, thinking we did not get a top 8 am seed...

Anyways some drama went down after i left the venue, because i told drew to shut the **** up on main stage duing my top 16 am ffa game because him and morpheus were talking to each other and argueing about EGL right behind my ear... so drew said "Mike, WHY DO YOU ALWAYS MAKE EXCUSES YOU DID NOT GET PRO FFA SO STOP MAKING EXCUSES." than i said something i pretty much regret and i felt bad after saying it, in front of like 50 people in the venue before getting in my car. I replied back saying "Your right i make excuses for getting top 18 AM FFA, what the **** is your excuse for getting out 2nd round, your ****ing terrible man." and i left. From that moment on i knew it was not going to be the same and that the team chemistry we had or the team had was going to go down the drain... By the way this whole week 8 ball and drew had been argueing and fighting about stupid little stuff so that was also a little previous warning.

8 ball is an amazing and smart player that deserves a top 12 team.. his insight and skill in this game amazes me and surpasses most of the people i know have top 12 teams but do not deserve them. Anyways, throughout this whole time 8 ball would tell me little random stuff about halo 2, such as spawns, and little strats and what to do and what not to do in 4's he pretty much taught me 4's.. and he would teach me this when we were smoking outside, so i feel bad because RIP and drew were never apart of these conversations(they don't smoke), and i feel that these conversations made me a better and smarter player and really seperated my skill in 4's from drew at chicago, but we'll really never know. All i know is one of the things shane(8 ball) told me that stood out to me was... "Mike, me and Alex(spainiard) have known this for a while, but this game is easy, man... you just need a team that will stick with you through thick and thin."

ANYWAYS back to the story, Friday night/saturday morning, we all stayed in a hotel, it was me, rip, rip's girlfriend, spainiard, bigtimer, drew, tkg amayzing, and 8 ball. we were messing around for ****s and giggles and then 8 ball takes drew's spot in the bed. drew threatens to hit him if he didn't get up and 8 ball stood up, no joke he was like 2 seconds away from fist fighting drew, but he gets up and leaves the hotel room. Right here i was pretty shocked i thought he was gonna leave and drive off, and he wouldnt be back, so i run out the door pretty much with no socks /shoes pretty much barefoot, and talk to him in his car i try to convince him to come back in, he says "he dislikes drew and that he would rather sleep in his car than talk to that F*****." So we were outside near his car for like 1-2 hours at around 3-4 A.M and i'm telling him that "man this is the first event ive ever had my full team here.... and i don't want something STUPID like this ****ing it up." anyways, i went back inside slept and woke up for the am 4v4... TO MY SURPRISE WE WERE 7th SEED!!!!!! i was pretty happy, i'm not gonna lie. anyways we find 8 ball and we start blasting through the am bracket. Once we reach the pro 4v4, our seed is ****ed over because we play S1G 1st round, when we shouldn't of... (MLG made a mistake, transferring 8 ball's points over to our team.. we had more points than team Matrix Lounge and they were seeded ahead of us?) anyways we took S1G to 4 games, they were really good and i was surprised and after the series i remeber talking to vegetto and telling him, "yo dude your team is so underrated, i know you guys will pull something big, this event and show everyone that you guys are amazing, and are definetly top 4 material." "thanks man, i appreciate it, i know we're underrated and it makes me feel good that you think that about us."

ANYWAYS we go the LB, LOSE because the chemistry is gone, and during all these games i start asking myself "what is drew doing?!? hes playing so stupid right now." I dunno whether it was 8 ball showing me his insight in the game and making me so much smarter at it, or it was drewskie choking in the pro 4v4 bracket. whichever one it is, i was pretty disappointed considering we didn't get top 24.. OH well, drewskie went on to quit, and me and 8 ball left to go team with wonka and rochy, and that's where we are right now.

Throughout the whole 4v4's our coach was jeenyus and i COULDN"T OF asked for a better coach, not only did he supply with me with free water and energy drinks, he was so funny, seriously i appreciate jeenyus everything you did for us, even though our chemistry wasn't there for chicago.

We are going to Orlando, with a team i feel amazing about i feel that we have amazing potential and with enough practice we can breakout in orlando, But only time will tell Watch for us in Orlando

P.S. I LEFT a lot of stuff i did saturday night and sunday night out, because i feel it wasn't that important, also i skipped a lot that happened because most of you would just like to know what happened in our placing.

Also, i had a lot of fun at CHICAGO and before chicago, so i'm pretty happy, also this blog is pretty unorganized gramatically, so sorry about that as well, but i'm very tired.

P.S.S- smiley was in my 1st round FFA once AGAIN, just like anaheim, but too bad her flight ****ed up , the early rounds of ffa wasn't as fun as anaheim without smiley there haha also, spainiard is a funny ass kid, 8 ball is one of the coolest people ive ever met through MLG's, he's definetly a kid that i would hang out with, even if halo didn't even exist and if he lived by me. drewskie is mad awesome, it sucks that we were all fighting before our matches and stuff and i regret stuff i said to you at chicago, and i am sorry. Vegetto and lightking destroy, haha. ALCO, i choked on VoD GO TO AN MLG ALCO so you can get top 12 pro ffa round robin! billy collister still didn't buy me that god damn mcchicken. OH WELL because gran_calc says if i make pro ffa in orlando he'll buy me something off a dollar menu, i guess thats something . Duff time, S P Q R, badstar, and thehansbecker are definetly UNDER RATED H1 Players, and VERY underrated H2 players, with a little practice they can easily be a top 24-top 32 pro 4v4 team. BEST MAN FINALLY MADE PRO FFA? crazy! . Bigtimer doesn't try in top 32 am FFA. Swordey gets knocked out 1st round twice in a row! Jason solon, graphix, collister, monkey, dm ryu, and trunkers are awesome referees. Eli's the man be patient and you'll finally beat karma one of these days. (your an automatic TOP 8 pro ffa round robin at any event you go to in my predictions, it's crazy how good you have gotten, i remeber the first time i played with you i beat you two times a in a row in an ffa with jeezy and a couple others that i forget that have probably quit halo already, keep shootin for the stars though eli you're destroying.) JEENYUS grapes DRIVE-THRU windows ! morpheus > gP, but morpheus < split screen rofl! , Team xg2k, cool guys, sucks that hokum is taking a break from halo, i seriously think you guys easily could of gotten top 14 in points with hokum after orlando, sucks that you guys had a horrible coach as well, if only you would of had me as a coach, at least you guys had me coach you guys during the KSI series, so you actually felt how it was to actually have a good coach. MP, thanks for supporting me through the AM FFA, man haha. Malstache and badstar own raffles haha. Mango and Phix are two of the most underrated Young players out there, in my opinion they are two of the best young players i know, hope you guys finally get this whole team situation figured out, because you guys are definetly amazing. Illest CP gets owned by FB first round WB, and me in top 128 am ffa's , RIP rapes with shotgun i dunno how but he pulls killtaculars out of his ass with that gun on LAN somehow.. By the way thanks for you and britney changing the way i talk, now i sound like i'm from mississippi . Peter, who cares if i outmelee'd you so many times at anaheim, you got back at me at chicago by beating all of us by 15, lol seriously though thanks for the tips later on. To everyone else i forgot i know i forgot a lot of people, you guys made MLG chicago awesome, and keep attending all in it for the same thing, which is to keep seeing MLG grow, we are what MAKE MLG. Well... yea took me a while to write a write up, hnmm... well lets start off by saying rip didn't get time off from work for anaheim, so we had to pick up kano last second and go over strats saturday morning, blah blah everyone knows about that. if you want to read more about it check out drewskie's blog anyways.

Friday 5 P.M- me and drewskie get there warm-up and right before the ffas begin the whole go positive crew + kano get together and have a serious talk about what needs to happen. Right off the bat drew says "One of us will DEFINETLY make it into the pro bracket, i put my word on it, and the rest of us definetly can get top 128 + to get us a top 16 seed easily, because that's all we need because they're aren't many good am teams AT ALL here." After that we get called to our stations, me and drew are called up first heat, in my first heat i don't remeber much i think all i had in my ffa was smileygirl, trapt, and santigirl. That's it, i split a screen with smiley and lets just say she destroyedddd , but yea other than that i got 3rd/4th tied with trapt and went on to the 2nd round. (Also, For some advice, make sure you get someone pretty cool to split with because seriously, splitting a screen with smiley was pretty awesome considering she was funny and pretty much calmed my nerves.)

Well, 2nd round i decided to have some fun and tell the new people in our round next to us that i was getting Xbox Live this winter and that my friend drew is a level 16 in THC, and that i recently just learned about halo 2 about 5 days ago at smiley's house . anyways i forget who their names were i'm pretty sure it was like steve57376 or something like that.. seeing their smirk before the round was priceless though . Well i won the 2nd round by 6-10 kills don't remeber that much, and smiley advanced placing 3/4th and pretty much our 3rd round was just right after our 2nd round the judges just told us to stay at our stations. 3rd round we started getting some decent people such as triple 007, bruno393, so it was pretty hard. i was in 2nd the whole game until near the end when i started losing it and i was close to 4th/5th, and i ended up advancing, even though smiley didn't, oh well, it was pretty cool splitting a screen with someone who wasn't mad lame or mad boring who was actually pretty funny and cool to talk to.

Right after my top 256 game i went on to see drewskie place 2nd in his ffa with like 35+ assists so i was pretty confident at least one of us would make it to the pro ffa. This is when kano told me he got knocked out 3rd round, and that adam(morpheus) got knocked out 2nd round(he had a 1st round bye for some reason?) anyways, me and drew were pretty confident. I went and got a BLT sub for 7.00- you believe that ****? crazy huh? anyways talked to a bunch of people see how they were doing, anyways i was called to my station for my top 128 game who had bruno393, triple007, trapt, some kids who i've never heard of but were still pretty good. anyways some kid i've never heard of "Yourgirlsman" was in 1st and the judge was watching my screen just saying "wow that spawn was ****ty." or saying "nice dude that was sick!" i know he was just trying to help out but come on . anyways i got through all the car 1, red 1, blue 1 car 2 spawns and was able to come back from 8th and get 4th from yourgirlsman, from who surprisingly went from 1st to 5th in a matter of minutes it was crazy. I went to check on drewskie and he got 5th and he was pretty pissed, haha so pretty much drew got top 128 again, adam got 2nd round, and kano got top 256. i was pretty much the only one left.

Anyways my top 64 game was looking pretty tough, it was me, bruno, halogod v2, foulacy, lil poison, chaosdaninja and i forget who else was in there but yea...(by the way lil poison is a pretty cool and shy little guy, i was playing right next to him but it's crazy how small he is and how good he is, plus hes mad gangsta ) anyways foulacy was in 3rd, halogod was in 2nd, and chaos was destroying in 1st. ( it was crazy how good chaos is he deserves to be on a top team DEFINETLY)i forget who was in 4th but all i remeber was me and lil poison were tied for 8th and were able to come back and i was able to get 3rd and lil p was able to get 4th and halogod got 5th, foulacy got 2nd, and chaos destroyed everybody in 1st.


anyways i was so stokeddd, that i made it. Later on i got called up to main stage for my top 32 game i see hokum is already up there and i was like "haha awesome we both made it." anyways me, hokum, and mimic start goofing around on mainstage, i dunno if it was recorded on the microphone.. hopefully its on the rebroadcast though anyways, right before my top 32 game started, i can't explain it i got this adrenaline rush and i was just thinking "i got this far already i'm not getting knocked out into the losers bracket **** thattt." anyways i went on to play and on my top 32 game i had xsn4ke- lives pretty close to me, hokum- lives pretty close to me, mimic, game(not sure if he was in my top 32 or top 16 match one of em though), foulacy, hali, chaosdaninja and me. anyways the game starts and me and sn4ke take an early lead but everyone was REALLY close behind. than all of a sudden i started slowing down and chaos started really speeding up in kills and him and sn4ke were suddenly ahead of me by like 4-5 kills and i was left in 3rd/4th... i suddenly hear people chanting "LELAND! LELAND!" and mimic who was in 8th was suddenly right on my ass tied with me for 4th i was like no way.. this can't be happening. while xsn4ke is stuck on 49, mimic keeps catching up to me, and i keep getting pretty bad spawns, and mimic just kept taking advantage of it. Right at the end i out melee'd foulacy right at the end and then chaos or sn4ke ended it(forget who). than i see myself one kill above mimic. i was so ****ing stoked, even though mimic's comeback, was amazing i give it to him, hes a very good player, and a pretty cool kid.

anyways, one round left to go it was almost 2 a.m. and i wasn't about to let myself get knocked out my top 16 game i was like **** thattttttt. anyways i went on to play it and wow.. was it crazy zach(bigtimer13) was in my ffa and he was destroying in the beginning of the game. chaos was in 2nd destroying as always while sn4ke was getting screwed over in spawns, and i was doing so baddddd 7th/8th.. anyways match went on and i was able to get 4th place from zach who went from 1st to 5th in his top 16 game. i got up.. unplugged my controller, saw how everyone else was doing and left.. I was so HAPPY, my phone was dead and i left my phone charger at someone's house so i was kind of disappointed i couldn't call everyone i wanted to, to tell them the good news. anyways me and drew decide to walk 3-4 miles to mcdonald's nearby the mariott(we thought it was nearby we were dead wrong jeez) anyways we came back to the hotel room at around 3 am - 4 am. (I think the only person i called was jeenyus and that was on adam's cell phone)

anyways i slept on two chairs, and kano was snoring the whole night so pretty much i laid there thinking about my matches and ended up taking a shower at 6-7 am and going to starbucks with drew pretty early. anyways i charged my cell phone wiht GI pr1mo's cell phone charger so iw as able to hear my 27 voicemails that morning . anyways but we went on to the venue and practiced against Z6, and mob 4 down for our first scrims ever with kano, than we went through the am bracket with ease, except for our 4th round who was against Team AyR- drummer, sleepy, sn4ke, soulrebelz. (i've lanned with them all before and they are very very underrated) we got knocked into the losers bracket by them. I had a long talk with my team pretty much motivated them and we went on to destroy our LB round 6 1st ts game- 50-26 and 2nd CTF game - 5-0.

Right when were done with our series i hear " Pro ffa round robin will now begin Station 1- Karma, strongside, cpt anarchy, dynomike, etc- you get the idea" anyways so i unplug my controller and go to main stage. i was pretty stoked playing with the best of the best in the world you know? anyways i got 8th, yea blah blah i know i'm bad. anyways i went on to my 2nd round got 6th...(i'm not gonna lie my hand was aching after every round robin i would have like 2-3 minutes to pour ICE cold water on my hands, just so they wouldn't hurt so bad.. if your wondering why i claw, and i don't usually play for long long periods of time so i really wasn't used to it.) Anyways after that i went up to drew and told him that i don't want this to affect the way i play in the pro 4v4, and that i did what i wanted to do and that was get top 8 am ffa to get our team a good seed.

I know this sounds lame but seriously, i'm playing with the best of the best mine as well have fun with it you know, and don't get mentally stressed out about what i was doing and how i was doing. Anyways i went on to place 6/7/8 almost every round, didn't care though talking to fonzi, walsh, brute, foulacy was pretty tight. As soon as the ffa round robins were done we went on to lose to xit woundz pretty badly, only close game we had was middy ball, where we would outslay them but not pick up the ball.. at the end of the game samurai says "we were trying that game just playing really bad but good games guys." haha funny **** anyways we went on to play PBR in really really close series' and i don't feel like explaining what happened but chaos and them **** pretty bad .

anyways, after the consolation drew had to leave and go spend time with his aunt who lives in orange county and i didnt see him for the rest of the trip . oh well, i went back to the room with morph and GI smash and GI blindside, they dropped off their stuff and i was like "just give me a hotel room card and you guys go ahead and lan, i'm tired as ****" anyways they gave me a demagnitized room card so i was outside our hotel room waiting for kano to come back with carl jr's and the room key.. i was like wtffffff. Also it didn't help that these weird freshman chicks kept asking me if i wanted to see some cartwheels, kept flirting with me, until they got yelled by some girl who was with samurai saying that they could hear us from their room etc. etc. anyways kano got back and a bunch of people came back to our hotel room and i was supplied with free beer ( top 8 am ffa has its perks ) anyways i got pretty wasted but it was fun times back at the hotel room. apparently i left our room at like 4-5 am when i was wasted with a case of beer to those freshman girls' room but i don't remeber that so who knows.

On sunday i walked to carl jr's since i was so hungover and felt like ****, i went back to the venue and watched brute and hali tear up the 1v1's and watch z6 tear up the pro 4v4, then later we went back to spainaird's house and just lanned H1 the rest of the night, than i got a taxi at like 3-4 am and went to the airport and flew home and got back to CHI TOWN at around 3-4 p.m. monday afternoon..

I LEFT a lot out.. and i know the punctuation sucks but bear with me i'm pretty tired.... anyways thats most of what happened at anaheim.. but it was tighttt hope chi town is just as awesome.. it'll probably be better considering its 10 minutes away, haha sick huh?

BTW Go Positive well not be attending dallas, because of the date and the issues it brings up but watch for us in ANA,CHI, Orlando, and New York.

Everything that went wrong in MLG New York did, for the go positive team. It all started when riprip flew to atlanta than stayed at the atlanta airport for 24 hours, because he was flying standby(which means that once a flight opens up he can get on it to new york) but for some reason EVERY SINGLE flight was full. While we were at new york we thought that rip was going to be at mlg new york by friday at around 10:30 pm, so me drewskie, and morpheus decided to use Bluefir3 to pretend as riprip in the ffas, even though he still got out first round anyways me, drewskie and morpheus kept going on, morpheus got eliminated at top 256, while me and drewskie kept destroying the ffas we were in, drewskie kept advancing with a very hard bracket that consisted of toxin, 8 ball, cyrax, lil talent, pyrocy, swat trojan, but eventually to full screen. i was destroying the ffas i was in, i was on fire, i was so stoked, all i was thinking about was, "i can't wait till brad(riprip) arrives so i can tell him how ****ing sick i've been doing, knocking out nakamura and winning ffas by 10-15 kills, also during the warm-ups i went to almost every station and sat down and either placed top 2 or won the ffa, (sure people were placing top 4 every ffa they were in but come on what good will that do you if you play the same 4 people every time with new 4 people rotating all the time, mine as well win the ffa at the station than move on to a new set of 7 people to really get you warmed up for the am splitscreen ffa)

That's when it happened adam(morpheus) gets a call from rip saying that there were NO openings whatsoever, and there was no way he would get to new york by the time the 4v4 started. At this point i just thought to myself all this time scrimmaging teams and doing well and this happens, my goal was to make it past the am and now i know it would of been very easy seeing the competition in the am bracket . so i sit down eat a ****ty slice of pizza that i purchased for 2 dollars and i'm down and thats when i hear my name 'Station 4, DyNoMiKe, Eli, Victory X, Tupac, Shankrocks, Dabears, Best Maaaan," and forgot the 8th guy. SO right before the game starts me and eli wish each other best of luck. It starts off as best maaaan and eli are fighting for 1st up to like 17 kills at this point im getting mad at everything im doing im down in 8th with no joke 5 kills. I just calmed down and ended up getting 5th losing by 2 kills, turned around all disappointed seeing the same faces that saw me play ffa not too long ago destroy most of the same kids with nakamura on my screen and end up winning by 11-12 kills and most of them we're just stunned. i go over to drewskie's station and the same thing is happening he gets off to a slow start gets mad and we both end up getting out the first round for full-screen SO IN THE END of friday adam(morpheus) got 256 and me and drewskie got top 128 when i know EASILY me and drew could of gone on farther, if brad(riprip) was there to up our spirits. so with bluefir3's first round knockout as ripohfive left us with the 23rd seed in the am bracket,(once again brad is an amazing ffa player he would of easily placed top 32, which could of left us with a top 16 seed)

Saturday starts and drew decides to talk to puckett explaining that brad can't show up so puckett says we could use anyone we want and that he wouldn't tell anyone. So in the first two rounds of our am bracket we use 8 ball who is a great player, and cool kid and we DESTROY the teams in our first two rounds, but 8 ball keeps getting nervous and asks puckett if a pro player can substitute in a am team that lost their fourth because of airfare reasons, and he says no. This leaves 8 ball pretty nervous because he does not want to get his team(MOB r3ventures) to get DQ'd from the pro bracket.

So we decide to use bluefir3 in the 3rd round in the WB and play K4, right off the start we win the lockout slayer gametype and move onto to midship ctf and are up 2-0, WITH A RANDOM, and they comeback to win 3-2 and beat us in the 3rd gametype lockout slayer.... Right now i'm very pissed(not at bluefir3 but the fact that i know the results would of been different because bluefir3 is a good supportive player but rip is an amazing slayer) so we lose to K4 WHICH I KNOW we would of 5-0'd in middy ctf with rip as our fourth. so we move onto the LB round 4, and win easily, move onto LB round 5 and play the MONSTER bowling team. they won the first game on ivory tower even though i went 23-14. 2nd game warlock ctf they're up 1-0 and we should have 4 clear cut flag caps, but they kept getting so lucky and returning it at our own flag spawn, just because we were so unorganized with strats and so on considering we've never played with bluefir3 before so we lose 1-0 warlock ctf and we're eliminated. I felt like throwing my controller on the floor considering i knew we would of beaten K4 with brad at NYC, and moved on to sweep the fourth round which lost to K4.. so we would of had one of the easiest brackets ever. anyways me and drewskie are pissed, so we go around seeing teams we know move onto the pro bracket that we know and do very well, and i'm very proud for them. Congrats to thinkessay(roc), nothing to lose, team 2 ez, rochy, eli, phix, team dvs, RLNG.
