It hasn't been easy. First, we had a guy, Wolves65, who was going to be our coach AND his father was going to pay for our hotel rates. Sweet deal, right? Then, my boss was also going to throw in some money, probably to cover the $240 team entry fee. Well of course, Wolves' dad doesn't come through, and neither does my boss, so we end up with a total of about $1,000 for our trip from Newnan, GA to Orlando, FL. One of our main slayers/snipers, xS kawika, loses his job and can't go, and our 4th falls through. So that leaves Gex56 and I (Holy Hitman). On top of that, some lady we were going to cut down a bush for and she was going to pay us fell through, AND a lady i was suppose to house sit for fell through, the both losing our team $300 in money. Wow.

But things are starting to look up.

My boss has offered me and Gex $20 per sale we can make to go towards our fund to Orlando. With that news, Kawika said if we can get together enough money we can go, and we picked up a 4th, Patty Bates. He has a few things to work on, but I am confident he will pull through. Now Gex and I are looking for any odd jobs we can do to make a quick buck to go towards our fund. On weekends, I am going to garage sales after they are finished and hauling away all of the leftover junk and cleaning up for whatever they will pay me. Once we get done doing all of that, we are going to have a yard sale of our own to see how much money we can rake in from other peoples free junk =) .

Basically, being starving college kids, we are looking for a quick dollar any way we can make it to help our team make it to Orlando. We are also struggling for a place to LAN before the tournament, so that is a problem too. There is just no way I am going to let money be the only thing that stops us from attending MLG Orlando. Even if we get destroyed in the first 2 rounds, I will still be satisfiyed with just being able to experience the thrill of the MLG competition. And TWO golf courses? Bring your best driver.
