Hey wussup everyone! It's been a while since I blogged. I have alot to talk about so get ready because most likely this is going to be a very long blog!

PRON STARZ

Well, here is the new roster update for my team "Pron Starz." xSNYEx LEGEND for some reason never got back online again so we had to kick him off the team. He was a good player but we need someone who is actually going to be online in order to practice with us. With xSNYEx LEGEND off the team, Junaid and I needed to think about who we were going to pick up for the team. I was at his house LANing this weekend and our good friend Joey (Fkn Shenaniganz) came over and chilled with us. We played Halo for a good couple of hours and then I asked him if he wanted to team. He said yeah, so we officially have a full roster again. Here is the Pron Starz roster as of right now:

As everyone knows, MLG is coming to Orlando! I'm really pumped about this because my teammates and I live in Central Florida so we're going to try to attend the event and compete. Competing in an MLG event is not cheap at all, so we're going to try and get a sponsor. If we can't go to compete, we'll still go anyway to spectate and compete in the FFA.

GAMING GEAR WISHLIST

Junaid has the best damn set up in the whole world. First of all, he has a 23 inch widescreen computer monitor. Even though that is not the monitor MLG uses, it's still an amazing monitor. The quality on it is amazing. The whole monitor itself is amazing. With the monitor, he has Astros. I fell in love with them. Those headsets are awesome. My awareness with them was better. I would get Astros but I don't have 200-300 dollars to spend on gaming headsets. I'm most likely just going to get Turtle Beaches. So here's my gaming gear wishlist:

• 23 inch widescreen computer monitor
• Turtle Beaches (if Astros weren't so damn expensive, I'd get those)

Well, that it's. I thought this blog was going to be long but I guess I was wrong. I'll blog again when anything interesting comes up.

First of all, I wanna make a point. I do not want to go pro. I play competitively for fun. Anyway, nothing but improvement has been coming out of me. I've been playing way smarter than before. My BR has also tightened up. Overall, I've just gotten way better. I now have some semi pros on my friends list which is pretty cool. Alot of people online are starting to make bad comments about me, but they're just mad because I'm better than them now. :)

Now for the team update. Once again, Junaid (best friend) and I have decided to change our team's name. The team is now officially "Pron Starz." It's a pretty funny name. We actually are original with our team names unlike most of the competitive gaming community who uses typical team names like "BR MaSTeRzz," "OMG iTz PRO," basically a typical Halo team name. This is the roster as of August 14, 2009:

We haven't gotten the chance to play as a team yet, but I have a feeling we're going to do pretty good once we do. Just like me, alot of people are making bad comments about my team but we'll shut them up.

I've been wanting to write this blog for a while and I feel today is the day I should. First of all, I love MLG. I can honestly say MLG is a big part of my life. I've met some pretty awesome people through it. I can name a million amazing things about MLG but sadly I can name one consistently bad factor in it...racism. No, I'm not talking about XBL kids, I'm talking about the MLG community, the people who hang out in the forums. I am a regular forum goer. Almost everyday I spend an hour or two talking in the forums with other members. Every once in a while I'll receive a racist remark due to the fact that I'm Puerto Rican. I'm not complaining about me personally, I'm writing for all the people who have experienced racism in the MLG community whether you're white, black, hispanic, asian or any other race. I want to put an end to racism in the MLG community. This community is so unique and special. It doesn't deserve anything ugly like racism. What can we do about it? We can end racism in this community. If you see a racist post in the forums, neg rep it. Eventually that forum user will be banned. Complain to the moderators about it because they can take care of the problem (shout out to TRAYJUHN who is the coolest moderator I know). At events, if you hear someone say anything racist, kindly ask them to stop.

If you yourself are racist and reading this, all I ask of you is to keep your racist remarks to yourself. I can't stop you from being racist. That's your choice and I'll respect that. Now you need to have the decency to respect this community by not saying racist remarks. We're too good for that. Another thing I wanna clear up is racism on both parts. It's not right to call minorities racist remarks and it's not right for minorities to call white people racist remarks. It's wrong on both parts...so cut it out dammit.

We all can end racism in the MLG community, so let's do it! Let's put an end to it! Thank you for reading my blog. I hope it motivates you to help stop this problem as much as I want to.
