Gaming story?
- May 11, 2006 - 10:46pm
Well.. Here i am, bored as hell..Xbox taken from me, my editor for my montage is on.. so here i am, making a blog about my Halo gaming story..
The year halo came out, i had got an xbox for christmas and my brother had just bought halo. After he was done playing it, i started playing it. I found it pretty fun but only played campaign because i was new to the game. I ended up playing the game for a couple weeks, and then stopped playing because i found it boring because all i could do was play campaign since i had no one to play multiplayer with because my bro had other stuff to do. Soon after that, i got Xbox live for the first time w/ my brother. My first account was called "Kranimalz", Being that my brother chose the name. I then got really into online games like unreal tournament, and ghost recon. After that, about 2-3 months later, i was in my room playing xbox, and my brother was on the computer, and i had asked him "Hey, are you downloading anything? im lagging like hell". He had said "yeah, im getting xbc." and i had no clue what it was, so he told me that it was like xbox live for games that are only system link, like halo. My brother was really into lanning on halo with his friends and other people at his school. There was a bunch little teams that played eachother for money at his school. He and his friends would come over after school and play, and ask me to play because they would usually have 5 or 7 people over, needing one more for the 3v3 or 4v4. I then started playing and was really bad. I kept playing with them and got really into halo on XBC. my name was (o)Ne_Sh(o)T.
I kept playing and my name changed everytime i got bored. From Thrasher, to Oneshot, to destroyer and one day, i made the name 'PinkPanther'. I sticked with it from there. I played with lots of clans and stuff for fun on XBC, until i got haloPC along with a nyko airflo controller for my PC (Very similar to an xbox controller). I then kept playing that after getting used to having to lead my shot, and i made a clan called {TcE} ; The Chosen Elites. I held tryouts on my 0-ping server w/ random people wanting to tryout. My first person i accepted was a guy named "Smokices" Who went from smokices, to {TcE}Smokey. {TcE} Grew on from there. Someone asked if i played in the TCLN League, and i said no. He then told me about the league and how it ran. I became interested and signed {TcE} up. We played lots of matches and did so-so. We ended up breaking up a while later because everyone got pissed at eachother. I was freelancing from clan to clan until TcE got back together but we were now [TcE] ha. Anyways, i was w/ the new TcE until that ended up breaking up a while later. I then started trying out for other known clans. I ended up getting accepted into Celsius, one of the top clans in the league. We ended up placing top 3 (i think we got 2nd). Later on, at another league (TWL), we were in the championship game, which was very cool because it was recorded and had commentary during the game the whole time. People who were at the league could watch the game because there was one guy who had a mod so he was at the top of the map loooking down at everyone and could commentate on what was going on. We ended up barely losing that game by one point (CTF) due to the flag bouncing across the whole map after the guy got sniped out of the hog. After that, halo2 was coming out in about a two months. We didnt have any huge matches or anything except for little matches to get us at #1 on the TCLN league. Halo2 finally came out, and i skipped school to play campaign and then play XBC with friends like FoxyGrandpa.. the guy who know only plays WOW basically and some others. Then i had to get a new XBL account which was P1NKPANTH3RR. yeah, pretty bad huh? I was really into matchmaking and never got much amazing games in w/ anyone well known. I kept playing though and then got my 2nd account PinkPan7her. I then kept playing matchmmaking with that account, and started playing MLG games with friends and other people i didnt really know. I still thought matchmaking was better.. I kept playing and then took a break for about 3 months, and did nothing but play MLG. I kept playing MLG until that xbox broke, and had to get a new one and made the next account: LL P i N k P LL Which i've had for about 4-5 Months now. And here i am now, making a long ass blog that most likely, no one reads.
