am i reading the brackets wrong or did Carbon just defeat FB by putting them into the loser brackets and then beating them AGAIN in the championship round.

it seems like i have the longest vacation for summer out of any one i talk to.

i've been wanting both a wireless headset and a headset that delivers both in-game-sound and voice chat for, what seem like, forever. i would've settled for a non-wireless headset, especially because of the price, but i guess that i don't have to.

i randomly stumbled onto the Ear Force X2 headset (apperantly the official mlg headset) today... and my prayers were answered

i'm happy now b/c i found this so i had to post a new blog (common sense, duh)

oh, the only down side that i can see to this headset is the cost. the lowest price that i've seen so far is about $70

i'm thinking about buying a capture card.
i want something good but not rediculously expensive.
if anybody has sugestions on which card i should about buying post a comment.

hawaii was awsome, too much awsome stuff, not enough time/pacience/memory to write about it all so all i'm gonna say about it is that snorkeling w/ wild sea turtles liek 3 ft away from them was awsome.

anyway, i played 1 game in RH against liek lvl 5s (not to be a person who judges ppl by lvls, but they sucked REALLY BAD) and i only pulled away a win by 4 kills

i'm hoping to be half way decent by friday

my family and i are going to hawaii on vacation for 2 wks. after i've been there i will have been to all 50 states in the US :P
things i can't wait to do/see:
1) the volcanoes
2) surfing
3) idk whatever else is cool in hawaii

i want to set up all the old mlg h1 gametypes on my xbox, but the problem is i didn't even have h1 until recently and i'm having trouble finding the mlg settings.

hey, i'd like to learn how to make web pages and such from scratch w/ html. i just think that it would be a really cool thing to learn how to do. i havn't looked around yet, so if there are any good tutorials, books, or step-by-step types of things out there that anybody has tried plz let me know.

well as it does every year, the school year is quickly winding down. i usually look forward to this spectacular event. however, this year is somewhat different. it being my freshman year in high school, i am suddenly reminded that 1/4 of my time in high school is over. soon, i'll be traveling with my parents and friends looking at colleges around the country (as i've seen my sister doing during this passing year). the point of this is that while i'm happy to finnaly finish with hw, tests, etc. i am also sad in realizing that good things almost never last as long as one would wish.

i hope that all of you are savoring your time at whatever place you are.

not too long ago it seemed liek nobody on my friends list had VoD. now half of my friends are just in pregame lobbies laughing their asses off at Ghandi's input during the tournaments. this only makes me want to get VoD, even more than i did before. However, i can't because:
1) my parents won't let me use their credit card
2) the comp i'd be using would be in my parent's bed room (that just wouldn't work)
3) when i get my own comp, it's going to be a mac (mlg doesn't support macs)
so all you lucky ppl who have VoD, just feel a little bit luckier
i know i'll get it eventually, but wtf

when i was first shown how to double shot, i was shown by people who could barely do it themselves. therefore, i got it by luck about once in every 100 tries, and by then i was too frustrated to even be sure that it was a double shot. i then proceded to tell myself that i could never do it in an actual game. i gave up on the double shot, thinking that it's not all that useful anyway, and that so few people can acually do it in a game that i didn't need to know how to do it anyway. however, this afternoon, after reading overswarm's article about the evolution of halo through glitches, i started to think. i played a few games a realized that some people actually were double shoting. what really amazed me was it saved them on a couple of ocasions. i imediatly jumped back on my computer and found the first, how to, article on double shoting. the article did overcomplicate it a little, but i had the basic idea (RRX really fast). back on my xbox i was, and after just two tries i had it. after getting a few in a row i now think that i have it down pretty well. i can't wait to use it in an actual game. anyone else having troubles with any, legal, glitchs should find another place to learn it and just not give up

ok, so i just watched a "classic" movie called, Breakfast at Tiffany's. all i have to say, is that it should've been called, Acid Trip at Tiffany's. it was the most random, wierd, and amusing old movie that i've ever seen. if anybody is ever in the mood for something strange and different to watch on a boring, rainy day, i advise this movie

i know that every one is really exited about h3 the anouncement and the trailer, but the way i see it, it'll just be another dissapointment for ppl who are looking for a competitively even and skillful game. after the major success of h2, which sold more copies than h1, i think that they'll be looking at making more "cool" weapons and such (i.e. sword & fuel-rod-cannon)

i'm just hoping that i'm completely wrong and that h3 will be the best, most fun, and the most competitively skillful ever made.

i've recently bought a 30gb ipod video. however, i didn't realize how much it would actually hold. i'm not even close to having it filled up, but when i do have all my music and videos i want to put on it, i don't think that i'll have enought room.

so the question is, will i have to buy a new ipod to store everything, or can i send my current ipod in and get a memory upgrade?

i love my ipod. i got it yesterday, it's a 30gb video. i spent hours transfering my CD collection to my comp (which is unforunately a pc). only after i finnished, i pluged my ipod into the computer, using to usb cable. it will make connection, but the comp doesn't recognize it, so i can't update it. my friend's ipod works just fine with the comp, and mine works great will my lap top.

i've reinstalled everything like 3 times over and the same thing always happens.

my lap top is a piece of **** and freezes all the time. i would really like to use my other comp b/c i doesn't suck ass. so any advice on how to fix this problem would be really great

i'm about to start my 3+ hrs of hw and studying. it's the down side of procrastination, you eventually have to do the work. i'm lucky that most of my teachers didn't give me much over spring break, because i've got quite a bit of make-up that i've got to do. well it doesn't really matter, i had a pretty fantabulous (new word that i just made up) spring break and i've got a feeling that it wouldn't have been as fun if i had been slaving over my hw every night. so now i'm off to my room, aka the land of work and boredom. wish me luck

i've also decided on doing a victory blog once i'm finnished with all this crap, maybe it will motivate me, idk.

oh yeah, i forgot to say that i've been following to brackets for NY, i don't have VoD , and it looks like there's a lot of good games with heavy competition. so good luck to every body who went. i hope that you all play your best and, most of all, have fun!

so, i've recently been looking into handhelds and i'm not sure if i would rather get a ds or a psp. i think that watching dvds and putting other videos and stuff would be cool with the psp, but that's what my ipod is for. what it really comes down to is who has the better games. i'd like to hear from anybody who has an opinion on either the ds or the psp.
