The following round saw another entertaining moment from eXt. While trying to reach the roof, he uncharacteristically missed a half dozen consecutive teleports. He found himself on ground level, amidst three enemy players. A few crafty shots resulted in a pistol triple kill and a 2 – 0 lead for Shoot to Kill. After three rounds of play, StK had suffered only one death, and eXt had an astonishing 8 – 0 record. StK’s playstyle was simply too well suited for the open and free-flowing nature of the early rounds of Power Station Attrition play. While Pure managed to take one round with a well-established setup in the Red Room, StK simply overpowered them and seized a 6 – 2 win. With the result, StK had a completely dominant 4 – 0 sweep of the Championship Match. They took the first Shadowrun title and look to repeat in Orlando, as the tournament's top seed.
