King of the Hill Map Strategies

 Just like map control, map strategies are more plentiful in King of the Hill in that the hill's position drastically effects the way in which the map must be approached. Each time the hill moves, a new strategy must be put into effect, capitalizing on the new geometry and nearby power items. King of the Hill opens up new ways of looking at a map and teaches teams to truly master it from top to bottom and side to side. Map strategies will center around the hill in addition to the power items. If controlling a power item will result in complete loss of hill control, it might be best to weather a few blows from a sniper and gain invaluable time. Strong teams are fluid and react to their enemy's approach to the game. Be like water and shape to the glass in which you are poured. Be like water, my friend, and you will be strong indeed. |
