Triple Homing Missiles

![]() Samus can fire three homing missiles between jumping and landing. This is similar to the full hop double homing missile but with one extra step. First, full hop by pressing the X or Y-button. Then, hold the control stick toward the direction of the opponent and press B to fire the first missile. Immediately after firing the first missile, jump again and hold to the side to fire the second homing missile. Keep holding to the side and press B one last time to fire the third missile just before landing. This technique doesn’t offer much over full hopped double homing missiles, but does sometimes have situational advantages. An example of when this method may be preferred is if the opponent is recovering from the side and above the stage and you want to annoy their recovery with missiles.
