Chain Grabbing

 With some characters it is possible to grab an opponent once, throw them, and then grab them again before they have a chance to recover. Most chain grabs only last until around 50%, at which time the knock back from the throw will likely send the opponent too far away to be grabbed. The effectiveness of a chain grab will rely on both your ability to continually grab the opponent quickly, and on the opponent’s ability (or inability) to shake out of a grab. List of Characters with Chain Grabs Falco: Can chain grab every character in the game with the D-Throw except the Ice Climbers (when they are together) and Jigglypuff. Single Ice Climber: Can chain grab Captain Falcon, Falco, Fox, Ganondorf, Sheik, and Wolf with the D-Throw. Both Ice Climbers: Can chain grab every character with a variety of maneuvers. King DeDeDe: Can chain grab Captain Falcon, Charizard, Diddy Kong, Ganondorf, a single Ice Climber, Ike, Ivysaur, another King DeDeDe, Lucario, Lucas, Link, Marth, Ness, Peach, Pit, Rob, Snake, Sonic, Toon Link, Wario, Wolf, and Yoshi with the D-Throw. Kirby: Can chain grab Fox with the D-Throw. Lucario: Can chain grab Bowser, Captain Falcon, Charizard, Diddy Kong, Donkey Kong, Falco, Fox, Ganondorf, Ike, Ivysaur, King DeDeDe, Link, Sheik, Snake, Sonic, Squirtle, Wolf, and Zero Suit Samus with his Forward-B. Marth: Can chain grab Captain Falcon, Falco, Fox, Ganondorf, King DeDeDe, Sheik, and Wolf with the F-Throw. Olimar: Can chain grab Captain Falcon, Fox, Sheik, and Wolf with the U-Throw. He can chain grab Captain Falco, Falco, Fox, Sheik, Snake, and Wolf with the D-Throw. Peach: Can chain grab Bowser, Captain Falcon, Charizard, Donkey Kong, Falco, Fox, Ganondorf, Ike, King DeDeDe, Link, Meta Knight, Pikachu, Sheik, Snake, Sonic, Squirtle, Wario, and Wolf with the D-Throw. Pikachu: Can chain grab Captain Falcon, Fox, and Wolf with the D-Throw.
