Auto-Floating With Peach

![]() Auto-Floating refers to Peach activating her float ability right next to or near the ground. To auto-float, simply hold down on the control stick before pressing and holding the X or Y-button. Peach will float for up to 5 seconds as long as one of the jump buttons is being held down. By simply pressing and holding the X or Y-button Peach will do her entire first jump and then begin to float. This jump can be interrupted at any point by pressing down so that you can float at your desired distance above the ground. It may seem difficult to pull of attacks while floating, but with a little trickery you can master the art. Here are the most common solutions for attacking while floating. 1. Use the tip of your thumb on the X or Y-button and use the lower part of your thumb to hit the A-button for attacks. 2. Use the “Claw” technique by taking your index finger and using it to hit and hold the X or Y-button. Then use your thumb to hit the A-button or C-stick. 3. Button map jump to the L or R-trigger. This is probably the easiest solution. Using auto-floating is a must for Peach users. The biggest advantage is the ability to float over projectiles while performing air attacks, like the D-Air. On top of this though is that floating gives Peach one of her best approaches. The process is relatively simple: pull out a turnip, jump and toss the turnip at the opponent, float, and then perform an air attack over or into the opponent just after the turnip collides with them. Get creative and figure out what height for floating works best against different characters. |
