R6V2 LB R2 Wrap Up - Instill Fear Upsets Rewritten 3-0

 As the competition begins to wind down for the night, Lost Cause and Dynasty LANslaughter stepped up to the plate in Losers Bracket Round 2. Additionally, Rewritten and Instill Fear slugged it out across the venue. This round was particularly important due to the winners being guaranteed a spot in the money, while the loser would be sent home. After taking a double-take-inducing loss to Iconz in their very first match of the National Championships. Lost cause re-entered the venue looking refreshed and read to get redemption for their prior blunders. Not only did they get the redemption they were seeking, but also a host of momentum moving forward into the homestretch of the competition. Although it was one of the closest fought battles of the evening, Lost Cause pulled out the win over Dynasty LANslaughter in the fifth and final map of the match. They're now heading into the Losers Bracket Semi-Finals later tonight. Mere feet from the Lost Cause and LANslaughter match, Rewritten and Instill Fear were forced to put their tournament lives on the line for the right to advance into the Losers Bracket Semi-Finals. In what turned out to be yet another upset of the night, Instill Fear impressed the event attendees with a domineering 3-0 performance over their higher seeded opponents. With this win, Rewritten's season has now come to an end, meanwhile Instill Fear will advance into the Losers Bracket Semi Finals against Lost Cause momentarily.
