![]() MLG: During this tournament, we saw a lot of teams who seemed to specialize in one gametype. What is it about CA FEAR that allows you to excel in all 3 MLG gametypes? FeaR Moho: FeaR has no weak points in any of the MLG gametypes. The reason for this is because each player individually has the ability to play for themselves, which is very important especially in clutch situations, and also has the ability to play as a team and that is what you need to dominate each and every gametype and that is what FeaR has over any team in cod4. Also, not to mention each of our shots are faster, better, and more accurate then others so we can get the job done in each MLG gametype. FeaR PacMaN: I think it’s the overall intelligence of our team. As long as I have known Kevin (Choppy) he’s been ridiculous at games. I met Rob (ASSASS1N) in the early going of Cod4 with uT and found that he was no joke, and in my opinion, Moho was the single best player in the early going of the game. I think we’re good at all gametypes because we’ve been doing it for a while and we just had to get our teamwork down. MLG: What does CA FEAR plan on doing now? FeaR Choppy: Me and Pacman are going pro in halo. (laughs) Just kidding. FeaR PacMaN: Me and Choppy pretty much will have the halo scene lockdown within a month. FeaR Choppy: We wish; But really, Pac and I are playing halo only right now and not even thinking about Call of Duty World at War and I don’t know the standing on GOW2 right now. FeaR Moho: FeaR plans on playing in the COD4 Gamebattles Tournament and then we plan on focusing all of our time on COD4. FeaR ASSASS1N: Well we do plan on playing the cod4 winter holiday tournament held on gamebattles.com and after that just taking a break. MLG: If you could give one piece of advice to a player looking to get better in the COD series, what would you say? FeaR Choppy: People think that it is all about your shot, but after playing the COD games for almost 3 years, it is all about learning the mechanics of the game and how to play smart, not just aggressive. I say they should start to learn on where to be on maps and when rather than working on their shots, because if you are in the right place, your shot wont matter as much. FeaR Moho: No matter how bad you think you are, as long as you set your mind to wanting to be the best and wanting to go pro find yourself three other players who are on the same page as you and willing to dedicate time and learn the game and get better TOGETHER and not just individually then that is the key to success. Practice makes perfect. Also remember, there is no such thing as luck, there is just preparation and dedication! FeaR PacMaN: I would say play with people who you get along with and are at the same skill level or better. Sticking together for the long haul is extremely important for chemistry, which in the end is the most important part. FeaR ASSASS1N: Use sound to your advantage since sound plays a big role in every Call of Duty, and even if someone is using dead silence they can still be heard. |
