![]() Among the surprises we saw this weekend, one has to be just how differently AmazYn is performing following Meadowlands. Stuck in a rather tough Championship Bracket this event, AmazYn had to fight hard to stay within the ranks this weekend in Columbus. With a new coach and an intense gameplan, Dallas should be the event that AmazYn steps into the Championship Finals should they stay on track with where they are going now. Changes to the rule set as well as the new maps added to the Pro Circuit didn't affect many top teams in Columbus, as most showed improvement over their last appearance in the Pro Circuit with game-changing strategies and an immense amount of skill.
Mr. PuFF is back in Gears of War 2 and seeming just as passionate as in the past.
On the lines of game-changing strategies, probably one of the most talented yet rather underrated teams in the Pro Circuit this season would have to be Raw Talent. In Columbus, the team seemed to have changed their approach to Gears of War 2. Nudging them from the number eight to a miraculous third placing, Raw Talent has a lot to offer in competition although they still have some room to improve if they want to be a top contender. Having so many things improving this weekend, August 28 cannot come any faster as the coming break will allow teams like The NSAN3Z to tweak every approach they have with competition while other teams will be preparing for another fierce event in the Lone Star State. After seeing what can be done in Gears of War 2 this weekend, we are in store for a number of amazing matches throughout the rest of the season as well as a few surprises from the top teams in competition. |
