Ogre 2
Ogre 2 confirms Mackeo’s replacement with StrongsideOgre 2: “ Victory X and I were both talking after the tournament about what we needed to do to win. We both had a team change in mind, but neither of us were 100% sure on making a change. Personally, I was thinking about how amazing it would be if I was able to get Strongside back on my team, but I didn’t think he would leave Status Quo for anyone - I thought he was happy there. When I heard that he left Status Quo to go to the new Carbon, I started talking to Victory X and FearItSelf. The three of us all decided that Mackeo is an incredible individual player, but felt like our team would be much better as a whole with Strongside in his place. It was nothing against Mackeo's skill, but we feel like picking up Strongside gives us a much more cohesive team without losing any slaying power. So we talked it over and felt like Strongside was the only person that we could possibly get from the available players - Available meaning players we thought would be willing to leave their current team for ours. We asked Strongside and he was instantly excited about the idea. I think it’s what he wanted; he’s pumped. "
FearItSelf
FearItSelf shares his thoughts on joining forces with StrongsideFearItSelf: " A lot is brought along with the new addition of Strongside to Final Boss. To say I’m pumped is an understatement. I have wanted to team with Strongside for a while now, and I’d say the timing is perfect. I believe he is at the top of his Halo 3 game and has the drive just like he did in the days of Halo 2. I have big hopes for our new lineup and believe it’s going to be one of the strongest I have ever been on. Apart from respecting Strongside as a gamer, I also consider him to be one of the good friends that I’ve met through gaming and couldn’t be happier for us to finally team. I have big expectations for the new Final Boss! " |
