Dr Pepper Dr Pepper will be in Dallas, delivering just what competitive gamers have come to expect! Because they know serious gamers can work up a serious thirst, Dr Pepper will be supplying all MLG Dallas attendees with FREE Dr Pepper throughout the weekend. Str8 Rippin will also be making special appearances in the Dr Pepper booth. Stop by and watch the 2008 National Champions as they practice leading-up to matches, or take home a piece of MLG history by hitting up a special autograph session with the reigning champs! Ball Park Ball Park will be holding their ever-popular FREE Ball Park Top Dog Tailgate right outside of the venue during registration on Friday, August 28 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Grab a hot dog or two and prepare yourself for an unforgettable weekend of gaming competition. Ball Park will also host a second Top Dog Tailgate on Saturday afternoon. Once the doors have officially opened, stop by the Ball Park booth to take part in a Super Smash Bros. Brawl exhibition, which will yield $500 in cold hard cash for the person who can put up the longest winning streak! GameBattles Arcade The GameBattles Arcade will give players and spectators a chance to get their game on in an exhibition-style tournament during the weekend. Pull up a chair and compete against your fellow MLG Dallas attendees in a FREE Halo 3 Free-for-All competition. The Top 4 performers will square off in a battle-royale to determine an overall winner. The winner will then qualify for a spot in the Halo 3 FFA Semifinals at the National Championship event, where they’ll face off against the winners of previous events’ Halo 3 FFA competitions for a grand prize! BIC Comfort 3 Advance Put your game face on and stop by the BIC Comfort 3 Advance Shaver booth to have your picture taken like some of MLG’s biggest pros. Strike a pose with a replica of the over-sized check, just like the one awarded to MLG’s National Champions. Or simply choose to take a snapshot with the BIC girls, who will be hanging out in the booth all weekend long. You’ll also have the opportunity to check out MLG’s own Puckett and Nexy as they make appearances in the BIC Comfort 3 Advance Shaver booth. Old Spice Get your swagger on with Instinct and their sponsor, Old Spice. Roy, Lunchbox, Neighbor, and Ghostayame of Instinct will once again take part in a special hour-long autograph session for their fans. Listen for the announcement, and then drop by the specified area at 5 p.m. on Saturday to come face to face with one of Halo 3’s most prolific squads. This is your opportunity to take home a piece of pro-gaming memorabilia - don’t miss out! Stride Stride Gum will be back again at MLG Dallas, and you can expect to see an array of fun activities and giveaways hosted at the Stride booth. On top of giving away tons of free samples of their latest and greatest “Ridiculously Long Lasting” flavors, they’ll be printing customized Stride T-shirts for anyone in attendance. Simply choose your size and slogan, and the Stride booth will produce your customized shirt for the world to see! Tinactin Chill While you’re browsing all the happenings at MLG Dallas, be sure to check out the Tinactin Chill booth. Take a load off in the Tinactin Chill lounge, which will be streaming all of the action from the Main Stage live as it happens. Astro The makers of the Official MLG A-40 Headset, Astro will be in attendance to give everyone a look at their latest line of products. You’ll also have an opportunity to test out their acclaimed A-40 headsets while playing Halo 3 from right inside of the booth. Avteq Avteq, a maker of high quality television and gaming station products, will be in Dallas with a heaping helping of their latest gear. Their wide range of products will be on display for all to see, and you’ll even have the chance to test them out for yourself.
