MbN: The Business Goes Down in WBR1 -- GoW 2 Day 1 Recap

 The first day of West Coast Gears of War 2 competition has concluded, and it seems to be quite a reality check for some teams. Coming to Anaheim following the release of Prison from their team, MbN: The Business had their hopes set on NJ Cubano to lift the team beyond their second place finish in Dallas. It seems nigh though, as they find themselves already fighting for placement in the Losers Bracket after their loss to 12th seed Less Than Zero. Struggling quite a bit in their first two maps, MbN pushed forward to try and pull off a win on Blood Drive. Despite a last ditch effort by Jaemercs and Prospect, Less Than Zero found themselves breezing through the number one seeded team with a 3-0 sweep. They play against Infinity tomorrow in WBR2, and they may just be able to take advantage of their momentum and roll through the Winners Bracket. Along with Less Than Zero, Legacy and Raw Talent are once again in the running for the Winners Bracket Finals as they won their first round matches in style. Keeping with tradition, both Amazyn and The NSAN3Z plowed through their competition as they will be continuing on tomorrow. Although the first day of competition has come to an end, there is plenty in store for this weekend as the Championship Bracket looks more challenging than ever at this point.
