Dynasty Upsets Final Boss in WBR2

 It seems as if Dynasty is continuing their upset streak here in Anaheim by shocking Final Boss with a 3-1 victory. Final Boss seemed very flat in this series and one can only hope they can build their teamwork up soon before it's too late. The series opened up with Heretic CTF, where Dynasty went on to win 4-1. StrongSide was the only member of FB to go positive in the game. FB rebounded for Game 2 and won Construct Slayer 50-44 with all members of FB going positive, except for Soviet. Game 3 is when things took a turn for the worse for Final Boss. FB was known for being the kings of Midship back in the day, but those days seem to be over. Their dominant Midship playstyle hasn't transferred well to Heretic, where they struggled mightily in WBR2. Dynasty had a very strong setup and a great ball rotation strategy that Final Boss could not break. This led to a whopping 250-52 win for Dynasty. FB seemed demoralized after the thrashing, and heading into Game 4, things weren't looking so good. Dynasty sealed the deal in Game 4, taking Pit CTF 3-1 with Enable going an impressive 24-11-16 to help secure the win. Congratulations to Dynasty for securing a Top 6 finish for the first time in their team's history. Meanwhile, Final Boss will attempt to put together a solid run through the Losers Bracket.  |
