Im currently using the MTAR, and i was wondering what the best scope would be to use. thanks

i recommend just staying with the default ACOG scope. if not, use the 6x scope.

Really it depends on the map and your play-style.

On a larger, more open map you use the 6x scope on single shot for some nice headshots, but on a more compact map I'd use the Acog or the reflex.

See on Libary if I'm going inside I'll use the MTAR with a Acog, but if I'm going outside I'll take the Famas with a 6x.

Basically just figure out what you're better at, Picking people off from afar or unleashing a clip at someone from 10-20 feet away.
Once you do you'll end up deciding on the scope that suits you.

I love using the MTAR with an Acog in almost any map. But The FAMAS I am getting so used to it. I like using the M8 alot with a 6x scope switched to single burst for them head shots!

MTAR with ACOG seems good, i use that everywhere regardless of the map and it seems to work for me.

MTAR21 with a 6x is basicaly useful in any map cause the closer you can see one's head the more dead they become.

I swear by the 6x scope. It seems as if some people forget that there's a standard reticule when not moving or moving slowly (duck-walking) so anything that's outside of the range where I can aim easily with that default reticule the 6x scope works handily for.

Also, I'm biased due to the fact that I tend to lose focus at a distance (possible astigmatism that isn't prevalent enough to warrant corrective eyewear) and the 6x scope alleviates that problem quite nicely as well.

The Acog is a good scope, though I am a huge fan of the 6x. It comes down to how you play...

Mainly like what DOUBL3D3CK3R had said "it all depends on your playstyle" and also the size of your TV and resolution.

I prefer ACOG, mainly because of the recoil from the TAR. The cog wont bounce as much as a 6x when you burst.

I like to use an ACOG with the MTAR.

On a side note, what's the difference between the FAMAS and the MTAR? I haven't really used the FAMAS, but the one time I did it didn't really seem too much different.

FAMAS has a faster rate of fire and because of this has moe recoil.
However on single shot I've come too believe that the FAMAS is more powerful/accurate.

FAMAS and the ACOG scope is a pretty nice combo for far, medium, or even up close. I use that combo for most maps big or small or for a change I go with an MP9 with a Rifle scope for small maps.

Mtar with the Cog on all maps. I like to keep it simple and not switch between scopes on maps.

It depends on the map and depends on the person. But I switch between Reflex Scope and 6x.

I prefer the 6x Scope but on the MTAR I use the Acog because it just feels easier to shoot with while scoped. Main weapon though is the Famas so 6x all the way for me.

I mainly use the 6x scope for all maps, but its all about your opinion on the scope you like best.

I find the Famas better than the Tar from all distances. And 6x is really the only way to go, because you shouldn't need to scope in unless they're across the map. Just what I think.
