GOW respawning?!

Sometimes waiting for 10 seconds seems like a while in halo objective games, when there is a ton of chaos and whatnot. 15 seconds sounds like an eternity

This makes perfect sense. You might not even have to wait 15 seconds. Its done on a timer, so when you die, you just have to wait how many seconds are left. Which will be 15 at the most. A good example of this is on WOW, in warsong gulch, when you die.
Like, when the game starts, a 15 second timer starts. When those 15 seconds are up, another 15 seconds start. When you die, you'll be put into that timer and when the 15 seconds are up, you'll respawn. If there is 8 seconds left on that timer when you die, you only have to wait 8 seconds to respawn.
I hope that makes sense...
And I hope this is what they mean because i sure dont want to be wrong.

I think that respawning for Gears will be good, I felt it was one of the only other games besides halo that could pull it off.

uh...you respawn in just about every game. GoW is one of the few games without it.

on the other hand i think ins gonna be interesting seeing respawns in this game , even though i dont think it was made for respawns but the 15 second intervals cover that nicely. personally i like the sound of this new objective gametype it should be a lot of fun and competitive as well

I can't believe you guys don't know what respawning is.

Here it is in laymen terms:
1. You die
2. Timer countdowns while you watch your teammates
3. A new character (you) comes to life

It's as simple as that

And its gonna suck unless they(Epic) change the spawn points. And knowing how they(Epic) are, you will probably be able to take damage before you can move. It will be like that until the next patch they do in another 3 months.
