The whole router thing really sucks. Our connection is so good...you should use an ethernet to connect your laptop then run a speed test. Give it about 15 minutes to run at it's full potential before you run the test though...

It was amazing we got to round 5 and sk sat behind me and my friend because we played his gurlfriends team. We barely beat them but it was cool. Just our first game were 4 females and it wasnt easy. So that means 856, i have a v8 jeep cheroke, it gets 16 miles a gallon. If gas is 1.60 that means i would pay around 90$ in gas. Then if traffic is bad in some cities when going from place to place could add a total of around an extra hour and if I have the heat running i use even more gas. So i am wasting around 18 hours and 110$(food and drinks included) to play halo for 3 ****ing hours, I believe thats a lost. How about you can come here and lan, and i will laugh at you.:)

i live in south Mississipp, Gulfport to be exact, i am hoping to have a lan sometime between now(12/18/08) and jan 6th excluding Christmas eve and day

if you know anyone from Louisiana or Alabama that is interested my house is only bout 45 min from mobile and and hour from New Orleans let them know

i have a lot of stuff but will still need more hoping to get between 12-16 people to have options to play different people at the lan

if anyone is interested, post the dates best for you, things you can bring, how many people you will have with you

Ok, I finally made it back to Oxford. Looking to maybe setup a LAN here (I live at the Mark) or just play some friendly games with you guys? Friend me in-game and send me a message or PM me here and Ill toss out some more info. I have a strange feeling I have an incoming *ss kicking hehe. I have 2 TVs and sadly just a router though (lost my switch :/) so things would have to be brought. I have some friends that were sick in SSBM too, so that may be thrown into the mix if its cool with everyone (most of them game-hating on H3 due to nostalgia of H1&2.. same with SSBB and Gears2.. blah). Can anybody tell me how often Play n Trade in Oxford has Halo 3 tournaments?

If i had to guess they probably will have another one in a month or two..every weekend they have a different game. GoW2, Street Fighter 4, etc.. but basically if you plan on going to one of those tournaments and have a team of 3 v 3 or whatever there tournament is, be prepared to play original map settings on 32 inch samsung tvs.. it's a giant lagfest along with having to play last resort, valhalla with vehicles..it's pretty much bs unless you get to the semi's where the teams usually only play mlg stuff so they will all want to (start with br's) and play decent maps.. still fun for only 5 bucks though..

Best in MS doesn't live in South Haven, in Oxford there is a few good ones: like 8Ball, Rip, Sunny. In Tupelo, there is Andrew(Arachy)-highly doubt you could do anything to him he is amazing. Vito used to be amazing but quit. There is a few in Ripley. Ponotoc-none at all they all ****ing suck. But i believe Arachy could come top 24 at Meadows if he had a good team.

well as of right now we suppuble only need 1 more person but im not a 100% sure about 2 guys! and as far as how the lan goes i like 4v4 because when there are to many people it seems like nothing gets done but how far away are you guys?

I will be hosting a Memphis lan July 18 (This Sat) and Aug 8 (sat). It will be from 12 to 12 midnight. I will give directions once you RSVP by sending a message to Ruler of Chaos on Xbox live. You MUST bring a 360 with halo 3 a controller and a Ethernet cable. I will need 5 more T.V.'s so tell me if you can bring one. This will mostly be halo 3 MLG 4v4. Read my Xbox live bio for more details and there is a limited amount of space so RSVP fast. The skill level will be mostly around 45-50 in MLG. Don't worry if you are not at that level we can run newcomer games also. 5$ for pizza and drink if you want any. Spread the word

Welcome to Mississippi. It's a huge downgrade from anywhere else in the nation. (yes, even Iowa)

Mississippi is last in everything (except obesity) including number of Halo players. If your willing to drive about 4 hours (or bum a ride) we have LANs sometimes down here on the coast but still there are very few.
